Being comfortable naked around Steve was a huge step for you. Ever since you'd gotten your first big scar you had stopped letting anyone see you without clothes, so naturally when he was relaxed about it, it made you more confident. That was until today.
The whole team was taking a day and off and how did they plan too spend that day off you might be asking, the answer is at the pool. Where it would be weird if you where fully clothed.
To say you were terrified would be an understatement. You and Steve had been in your room since the moment you woke up while you tried on every piece of swimwear you owned to see what looked nice. To nobodies surprise all the items had ended up in a pile on the floor, even though Steve had said you look gorgeous in them all.
"that was my last bikini" you sighed pulling on one of Steves shirts and laying next too him on the bed.
"so wear that one it looked amazing like all the others you tried on" he smiled kissing the top of your head where it was now resting on his chest.
"no it looks ugly like the rest of them, Steve I can't let them see me like this it's hard enough everyday me having too seeing this in the mirror others shouldn't have too look at it too"

If you choose too wear a bikini today and go outside in the pool with everyone I will be so proud of you but also if you choose too stay inside and watch movies with me then I will be equally proud because you considered the idea." Steve said calmly after moving your chin too look at him.
