Part 21

~One Month Later~

As a month quickly went by the small family had felt so much safer knowing that Hal was really gone and no one was after them.

Betty and Jughead had just picked up Isabella from her moms house and they were on their way home.

Jughead- So Betts, I was thinking maybe we could officially go on our first date tonight...if you wanted?

Betty- Oh my god, Juggie, I would love to but what about Isabella?

Jughead- I already talked to your mom and she said that she would take Isabella for the night and we could just pick her up in the morning. As long as that's okay with you?

Betty- I'm fine with that...Isabella, do you wanna have a sleepover with grandma?

Isabella- Yeah! We can watch Frozen again!

Betty- Well I guess that's a yes then.

Jughead- Perfect.

They arrived back home and they all played for a little while before Betty and Jughead started packing a bag for her.

Betty- Ella, what toys do you want to bring to grandma's?

Isabella- Elsa and teddy.

Betty- Okay.

She loves her Elsa doll so much and she never sleeps without teddy.

He's her favourite stuffed animal.

As Betty finished packing her clothes and toothbrush they heard a knock at the door.

Jughead went to get it and Alice came in.

Alice- Isabella, are you ready for a sleepover?!

She started getting really shy and hid behind both of Betty's legs.

She actually does this a lot, no matter how much she loves someone she will start to get in a mommy mood and not want to leave Betty's side.

Jughead took Isabella's bag from Betty and handed it to Alice while Isabella started to cry.

Betty knelt down so she was her daughters height and she pulled her into her arms.

Betty- Ella, you're okay my love.

Isabella- No, don't leave me. (cries)

Betty- Sweetie, you know I'm not leaving. You're just staying with grandma tonight.

Isabella- I want to stay with you. (cries)

Betty- Mommy and Daddy are going out tonight so you have to stay with grandma but you can call me if you get scared.

Isabella- I don't wanna go. (cries)

Betty- How about this, if you go tonight then we can do anything you want tomorrow. Does that sound okay?

She nodded hesitantly. Betty could tell she didn't want to leave her arms.

Isabella- I love you mommy. (tears)

Betty- I love you too...I'll see you really soon though, okay?

Isabella- Okay. (tears)

She finally walked over to Alice and they left.

Betty let out a big sigh and Jughead chuckled.

Betty- What? I can't help it when she get's in her mommy mood.

Jughead- I know, now go get ready and wear something really pretty, we're going to a nice restaurant.

Betty- Okay, what time do we need to leave?
