Phoenix Aphrodite sat there, a deep frown plastered on her lips as she watched the arguments change from person to person, from topic to topic. It seemed like nowadays none of the gods or goddesses could get along, and it was making the woman completely and utterly frustrated. The brunette beauty sat there in silence, glancing towards her mother and father, who seemed most enraged by whatever it was that was going on. And if Phoenix was being honest, she hadn't a single clue what it was that was going on. All she knew was that everyone was arguing, and it was making her head hurt.

Phoenix liked to believe that she was a peaceful person. Even if her father was the god of war, and her mother was the goddess of love, she liked to believe she was more or less like her mother in the sense that she was peaceful and enjoyed giving people peace of mind. Yet she couldn't help but realize that her mother seemed to be failing at her job as of recently.

Standing up from the table, Phoenix made her way from the room filled with nothing but arguing adults, a soft sigh falling from her lips. Her home was falling apart, that was something that the girl could clearly see. She was so tired of hearing the same arguments over and over again, and she just wanted to leave. She wanted to leave before everything around her completely collapsed, and maybe that's what she would do. It's not like her parents would notice or absence―︎hell, she wouldn't be surprised if they cared less.

Without a second thought, the woman fled her home, bringing nothing but the clothes on her back with her. She traveled, hoping from world to world. And she was in love with every planet and species that she stumbled across, that was until she stumbled across Asgard. She looked at the dark skinned man with golden eyes, watching as he barely glanced at her as if he already knew that she was coming.

He didn't hesitate to walk her across the rainbow bridge, and Phoenix couldn't help but look around with awe in her eyes. The place was absolutely gorgeous, and she was already falling in love. Entering the castle, she was stopped in front of a man with white hair and an eye patch covering one eye. She cocked her head slightly, the man looking familiar to her for some unknown reason.

And then he introduced himself, and suddenly Phoenix realized exactly where she was. She realized she had managed to stumble upon the world of the Asgardians, of the Norse gods and goddesses. And she couldn't help but let a smile crawl on her face before quickly explaining her situation to the king. She could see him hesitate, and for a moment she thought he was going to deny her, and then a woman with curly light brown hair entered the room, a wide smile on her face as she immediately reprimanded her husband before hugging Phoenix and letting her in with open arms.

To say the woman wasn't expecting this was an understatement. But that wasn't all she wouldn't be expecting. Phoenix wasn't expecting to fall in love with Odin's son, she wasn't expecting for the people to become more a family than her own. She wasn't expecting the world of Asgard to become more of home to her than Mount Olympus would ever be, and at that simple factor, Phoenix couldn't help but smile and silently wish to herself that she would never have to leave.
