Chapter 79 Ceremony

Alexia POV

I woke up early in the morning and took a refreshing bath. Then, I ate my pills, and once I was done and ready, I decided to go and visit my brat before the meeting.

I walked downstairs to the cellars. I stopped halfway when I heard Eren's voice talking with the others. I heard Eren explaining to Armin, Mikasa, Lizzy, and Sebastian that everything in the books was true because he connected with his old man's memories, revealing everything we discussed yesterday. He told them everything that we talked about yesterday and even about the Curse of Ymir and that they are going to die in 13 years after inheriting their Titan powers.

"I've got 13 years left. And you...?" I heard Armin's voice start but didn't finish. Instead, I heard Eren's voice reply to him.

"Eight years left" Eren answered. I sighed. I placed a hand on my stomach and gritted my teeth.

"Sebastian?" Lizzy called.

"Five years" Sebastian answered.

"I won't accept it. This has to be a mistake" Mikasa said.

"It's not a mistake, and as much as it hurts, it's the truth" I said, finally coming down and showing myself.

"Alexia!" Lizzy exclaimed when she saw me. I walked over to them and when I passed Mikasa's cell, I saw Sebastian inside with her, hugging each other. Mikasa was leaning against Sebastian's chest, while Sebastian hugged her tightly. I sent a small nod in Sebastian's direction, and he nodded back. Finally, I was now standing in front of Eren's cell.

"Hey, brat. How are you hanging?" I asked. Eren immediately got up from the bed in the cell and walked over to the cell bars.

"Alexia, what are you doing here this early?" Eren asked. I rolled my eyes.

"I can do whatever I want, brat. Also, I came to see how you guys are hanging with the news" I said. I saw Eren nod for a second before looking down in sadness as he held the bars.

"I-I am sorry" He said. I raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Exactly what are you apologizing for, brat?" I asked. He sighed.

"Well, because of the Curse of Ymir, I'm only gonna live eight years more, and we won't be able to be together for the rest of our lives like we plan" He said, while tears formed around his eyes. I growled before flicking his forehead, causing him to cry in pain and rub his forehead.

"Tsk, you're so annoying, brat. I don't care about the future. I only care about the present. It's not your fault that you were cursed with these stupid powers. I don't care that you're gonna die in eight years. I also don't want to see you crying about it, it's disgusting. I want you to instead focus on the present and worry about the future later" I said. He looked at me before a small, but yet still sad smile formed on his face.

"Thank you, Alexia" He said, rubbing my cheek through the bars and then placing a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Tsk, seriously? Not even cell bars can stop you from touching my baby sister" a new voice said. Immediately, I pulled back, and that's when I saw Aniki and Hange.

"Levi-san, Hange-san" Eren said, surprised by their sudden appearance. Hange smirked, while Aniki walked to the cell where Eren was being held.

"What are you guys doing here?" Eren asked. Aniki didn't say anything and instead unlocked the cell and opened it with a violent creak.

"Get out" Aniki said. Eren looked at Aniki with a confused expression.

"I'm supposed to be disciplined for ten more days" Eren said. Aniki clicked his tongue in annoyance.
