Chapter 6 The Slayer Demons

3rd POV

The underground was a city originally made to be a safe haven and expansion land for the Walled World, as they could not expand outward. However, there were many downsides to people living underground, including the lack of sun which induced their legs to become unusable and poorly working.

Because of this, the more or less population that was forced to live in the underground are not allowed to come to the surface area without citizenship. The rest of the walled population abandoned the idea of underground living and left it to the more impoverished people.

*1 Year Later*

A building. A really creepy and dark building that no human has ever stepped foot on. People say that the building is haunted by ghosts but in reality, it's only inhabited by the strongest, fastest, dangerous, and cruelest gang in the underground.

'The Slayer Demons'

On an ordinary day just outside the building stood a man who was muscular with brown hair and brown eyes.

He knocked on the door twice and yet, another man with dark brown hair and blue eyes who is in their thirties opened the door. 

"What business do you have here?" the door man asked.

"I come here to challenge your leader and become your new leader" the muscular man replied. The man who opened the door chuckled.

"Good luck with that" he told the man as he was opening the door all the way to let the muscular man in.

"Well, well, well, look at what we have here? Who is this man George?" a deep voice said from inside the shadows of the room.

"A new challenger for our leader, Romeo" George replied.

Just then, a boy in his 20s with brown hair and blue eyes came out of the shadow.

[That's how Romeo looks like now]

"Will you look at that? We have been receiving so many challengers these past two weeks" Romeo said with a chuckle.

"Here follow me, our leader will take care of you in no time" Romeo added.

"Yeah, right. We will see about that" the muscular man said.

Both the muscular man and Romeo walked to a room where people gathered around in a circle. The muscular man was taken to the center of the circle.

"My Queen, a new challenger has arrived" Romeo announced.

"Another one? This is the fifth one this week" one of the thugs said.

"What an idiot trying to challenge our leader" another thug said chuckling.

"Our leader is sure to beat this guy" another one said.

"HA, when I defeat your leader, you all will have no choice but to listen to me! Now! Show me this leader that you all call The Midnight Demon!" the muscular man shouted.
