Avengers Parallel

Ch. 12 "Escape"

                                               Cameron POV 

I looked at the clock on the wall 2AM, better now than never, I thought 

I surveilled the room, the window was near the desk which had my swords, which is perfect who ever disarmed me make a mistake on that part, 

I was still wearing my uniform which is good also still have spare knives and gadgets, 

I was gripping the needle in my hand, 

I need to inject this as close as I can to the heart so it can activate fast, 

I could hardly move but this is my stubbornness, I am not giving up, this is not my world! not my father! and most certainly not my family!! 

I am getting out of here, and I'm going to come up with a plan for these stupid Nano's, 

I quickly jabbed the needle in my hip, 

making me hiss a bit, I closed my eyes as I pushed the plunger of the syringe all the way in, 

It's going to take a few minutes for it to- 

My eyes got wide, 

Holy meatloaf that was fast, I thought 

I started feeling my heart beat faster and I could move, I pulled the covers off of me, sprung to my feet, grabbing both of my swords putting them in the holders on my back, 

I grabbed a chair, smashing the window, I jumped on the ledge of the window, looking down, the wind from the air blowing my hair out of my face, 

"That's a long way down.." I mumbled 

suddenly alarms started blaring and red lights blinking, 

"Escape in progress! Escape in progress Roger child escaping!" The loud speaker blared, 

I dove off the ledge eagle style, 

"Cameron!" I hear 

Sky diving without a shoot but I am not staying in there, 

I pull out my adjustable bow out and shoot a line to the building across the street, making me swing to that building, 

I landed safely on the ground retracting it putting it back in my side pocket, 

And I took off running, running down alleys, using the shadows just like Nat and Bucky taught me, 

I had to survive, I don't care what the rouges say I need my father and the others here, they need to help I am just a kid, this is bigger than me, how can one kid stop High Commander Rogers and his dogs, 

I can't so I have to somehow bring them here, 

I was just outside of the city, 

When I felt an electrical shock run from my throat all the way through my body, bringing me to my knees holding my throat as I gasped, and withered in pain, 

"You are one smart cookie you know that," I hear Tony as he lands his helmet forming off of his face like the collar on my throat probably the same tech, 

"What is this..." I gasped, 

"Just a little shock incase you get out of line or run," Tony said 

I hear footsteps, 

The shocking finally stopped, 

I was still on my knees, my breathing ragged, Steve approached slowly, 

"Cameron get up were going home," Steve said 

I glared up at him through my eyelashes, 

"Never.." I said 

Steve glared at me, 

He went to grab me but I slapped his hand away, 

"Back off," I said glaring at him, 

"I've had enough of this defiance," Steve said grabbing me by the upper arm, 

That quickly I right hooked him making him let go of me I grabbed my Katana's getting in a defense position, 

"Do you really want to do this?" Bucky said 

"If it gets me away from you all yes," I said glaring 

"I do miss that fire behind your eyes," Tony said smirking 

                                                  Cameron's Earth

                                     Steve POV 

I paced back and forth, as Tony looked every square inch of the globe looking for Cameron, she was right behind us, 

And I couldn't save her, 

"Guys your not going to believe this," Steven Strange said walking in, 

All of the avengers were standing around as he formed a portal, 

"I zeroed in on Cameron's position she's in a parallel earth,"Strange said 

"What?" I said stopping in my tracks, 

He formed a portal, 

"A earth where were all the bad guys," He said sadly 

We see in the portal and see Cameron she was holding two of her Katana's as our parallel selves surrounded her, 

"Cameron why do you do this to yourself why fight it, accept it, I am your father come home," My Parallel self said 

"Never, you are not my father! None of you are my family! and I am going home!" Cameron said glaring hard 

Suddenly Tony's self fires a shot at her and she dodges, she runs and jumps to kick my self and he grabs her ankle throwing her that she's on the other side of the street against a car, 

"We need to get in there!" I said 

"We can't something is blocking me," Strange said 

"Until I figure that out this is all we can do," He said 

We all looked at the scene playing out, unable to do anything about it, I thought, 

Cameron I thought
