Ch. 22 "Rules"

                                              Cameron POV 

I feel defeated, I thought as Commander lead me to his office since I noticed where we were,

I didn't say much as we walked and Commander listed the schedule that's going to start, I just nodding, 

I mean what could I say? I lost, 

We lost, I'm never going to see my dad again, 

I looked up at Commander's face, 

I mean sure Commander has his face, but he's not him, not my dad, I thought 

Commander opened the door, 

He kneeled in front of me, 

"Little one, stay here, I am going to go help with the transport," He said 

I nodded, 

"You promise you will send them home.." I said looking up at him through my eyelashes, 

"You have my word," He said smiling at me, 

"Now stay here," He said 

I nodded, 

He closed the door, 

I hear it lock, 

I sighed

I sat behind the desk, the computers had the surveillance of the entire tower, 

I fold my arms placing my chin on top of them, 

I see the lower level, 

Where I see Dr. Strange opening a portal, 

Thor, Bucky, Commander, Tony and a lot of shield agents making sure My dad and my family go through the portal, 

"Goodbye dad...." I whispered as I felt the tears welling up in my eyes.

Knowing I may never see them again, 

Knowing I might just give into Commander Steve.

Knowing I signed my cooperation in order to say goodbye, 

I stood up as soon as I hear the door click, 

I see Steve, Tony and Bucky walk in, 

"Well Sweetheart, Commander here tells me of the deal you made," Tony said 

I nodded, 

"Words Cameron," Commander said 

"Yes.." I said in a dull tone, 

"Well I guess were going to have to go through the rules that are required with this deal," Tony said 

I looked at them in a daze still hoping this is some messed up dream, 

"First and most important, No running away," Commander said 

I nodded 

"Words Cameron," Commander said darkly, 

"Yes," I said 

"Yes what?" Bucky asked, 

"Yes, I will not run away," I said 

"Good," Commander said 

"Second you listen to what we say," Tony said 

As he motioned to himself, Commander and Bucky, 

"We are your father's and you need to listen to us as such," Tony said 

"Yes," I said 

"Good, I'm glad we've got an understanding," Commander said 

"Come on Cameron we've got a lot more to discuss but not here," Commander Steve said 

Commander walked out of the room, then Tony, 

I need to get through this, I need to be strong for my dad and family, I thought, 

I felt someone lightly push the middle of my shoulder blades, making me walk, 

I'll be okay, I'll be strong, and I will survive this, 

I have to, I can't break, I can't become them, 

I did this for them, I made this choice for them, to save them, 

And wouldn't change that for the word, I would do it all over again, and I'm going to have to get through it, 

We come to the conference room, 

"Little one sit," Commander Steve said 

I did as I was told sitting at one of the chairs, 

They all sat down, Commander at the head of the conference table, 

They were all looking at me, 

I just had a feeling that we were just hitting the tip of the ice burg with the rules. and things were about to get worse, 

A lot worse, I thought
