Y/n's POV

Erin Strauss, while she is technically my boss, is a manipulative and scheming bitch who I am head over heels in love with. I don't know how it happened, one moment I hated her guts and the next I found myself thinking about her non-stop. The only thing that has stopped me from doing anything about it was the fact that she seems to hate me for some reason. I'm not sure what I did to make her hate me but I must have done something at some point. Sighing to myself I bury my head in my paperwork to try and distract myself as she struts past my desk leaving behind the faint smell of her perfume which makes me bite my lip slightly.

Erin's POV

Walking through the bullpen I falter ever so slightly as I near y/n's desk. Y/n is a great agent who gets on with everyone, except me. For some reason she had taken to being cold and closed off with me and it hurts more than anyone can imagine because for the longest time I have been in love with her. I love everything about her from the way she smiles to the way that she will do anything to help those that she cared for. Straightening my back I carry on past her desk and up to my office where Dave was waiting for me. "Shouldn't you be working like everyone else Dave?" I asked him as I shed myself of my blazer.

"Probably Erin but there are more important things at hand. Like you needing to talk to y/n before it's too late and she starts seeing someone else." He tells me as I round my desk and sit down heavily in my seat with a glare. "Don't look at me like that Erin. She is a very beautiful woman who could have anyone she wants and she has grown rather close to Alex over the last few months." He finished with a slight grumble, it's no secret that he has feelings for Alex.

"Do you not think that I know that Dave? Because I do! But she hates me Dave, you've seen how she is with me compared with the others." I told him, trying not to cringe at the thought of y/n with Alex, and he came round the desk to hug me just as there was a knock at he door. "Come in" I called out without moving out of Dave's embrace and the door opened to reveal y/n.

"Sorry to interrupt ma'am but agent Hotchner asked me to give you these files." She said stiffly as she looked between myself and Dave. "I'll leave them here and let you get back to what you were doing." She said quickly before dropping the files onto my desk and leaving.

Y/n's POV

When Aaron asked me to take files up to Strauss' office for him I reluctantly agreed to, for the selfish reason of getting to see her gorgeous face again. Walking up the stairs to her office I glared at a smiling Aaron. I never should have told him about my feelings for the damn woman. Knocking on the door I hear a faint 'come in' and enter only to find her and Dave all wrapped up in each other. Feeling my heart clench at the sight I square my shoulders before addressing her.

"Sorry to interrupt ma'am but agent Hotchner asked me to give you these files." I said stiffly as I looked between them with a resigned look. "I'll leave them here and let you get back to what you were doing." I said as I quickly set down the files and left the office in a hurry.

Rushing back to my desk I ignore the questioning glances from the others and throw myself into my desk chair. Angrily grabbing another folder I start filling out the documents until I feel a hand on my shoulder. Turning around I see that it's Alex and I give her a tight smile which she seemed to understand as she motioned for me to follow her. Leading me into the abandoned stairwell we sat down before she said anything.

"Do you want to talk about whatever happened?" She asked and I sighed.

"As you know Aaron asked me to take files up to Erin and I reluctantly did. When I got to her office I found her wrapped up in Dave's arm. I didn't know what to say and I left the files and fled." I explained to her and saw her flinch slightly at what I said.
