Spencer Reid x Reader x Derek (Part 2)

A/N: This is part 2 to the Spencer imagine where the reader has moved on to Derek and Reid hates it. This is a continuation of the Spemcer imagine where Erin is the readers aunt.

Spencer's POV

When y/n returned to work she pretended that nothing had happened but at the same time refused to be paired up with me on cases which Hotch openly agreed to as he paired her with either himself or Derek. She also refused to talk to me for a while but that passed and now we can hold a conversation even if she sounds slightly strained sometimes. I had officially started dating Maeve and it was recently announced that y/n and Derek had gotten together and although I should be happy for them I'm not. Every time I saw them interact in a non-work related way I wanted to grab her and drag her away and most of the team have realised this which I learnt as they pulled me aside to tell me to back the hell off.

Currently the team were packing up their belongings for the weekend and I watched as y/n played with Derek's caller as she addressed everyone. "Who wants to go for a couple drinks before we head home?" She asked and Derek nodded as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Gritting my teeth I grab my bag ready to leave.

"Sorry y/n but I have to get home to Maeve." I said tersely but she wasn't having it.

"Why not invite her along then Spencer?" She insisted as she snuggled into the body behind her grinning but I shook my head.

"She's not one for going out drinking y/n, besides I've got a bit of a headache forming so it's probably best for me to head home and rest." I said quickly before rushing out of the building.

Y/n's POV

Watching Spencer go I roll my eyes at his attitude and look at the others who all nod in my direction. Waiting for everyone to finish packing up I turn in Derek's arms and give him a light kiss. "Fancy coming back to mine after we leave the bar? I figure we could cuddle up and watch a movie tonight and see where the weekend takes us." I suggested and he grinned at me before leaning down to kiss me again.

"Now that sounds amazing darling. We could even order in some Chinese for dinner, to save either of us from cooking." He whispered back and I smiled as I leaned against his strong chest. "Is that everyone ready to go then?" He asked and I pulled myself out of his arms to walk with the girls to the elevator. Stepping in I laugh as Emily gets pushed into Dave slightly only for her to push me straight into Aaron.

"You are a child sometimes Emily Prentiss, I hope that you know that." I told her as Aaron hugged me to him like a father would hug his daughter. "Thanks Aaron." I told him and heard the others gasp as he just hugged me tighter with a genuine smile.

"Okay, I've only ever seen you smile like that at Jack and no one except Jessica and Strauss get to call you Aaron. What's going on between you two?" JJ asked and Aaron chuckled.

"You can all call me Aaron you just never choose to and if you must know Jack has sort of adopted y/n as his sister since she's been over so much to watch movies with him. Since then I've grown to see y/n as a daughter hence the hugging and protectiveness." He explained as we all got off the elevator at the garage. "Now, I'd love to join you for drinks but I promised Jack that I'd be home for dinner tonight." He added before leaving everyone standing gobsmacked.

"Right, let's go then." I said and dragged Derek to my car by his hand while the others all slowly moved to their own cars. "I'm gonna have to talk to Spencer eventually about his recent attitude. If he glares at us one more time I'm likely to smack him." I admitted once we were alone in the car.

"I don't understand him sometimes. One minute he's completely ignorant to how you feel and now that you've moved on he's acting like you're meant to be with him even though he's with Maeve. It's not right!" Derek ranted and I bit my lip while I nodded in agreement. Derek Morgan is hot when he's angry and I was beginning to wish that we were heading straight home.

"I know Der but he's not worth getting so worked up over. Let's just enjoy our night with the team and we can deal with him when we get back on Monday." I told him and he sighed but nodded in return. Pulling up outside the local bar I'm pulled into a deep kiss before we get out of the car. "What was that for handsome?"

"That was for being so amazing and hot." He said before pulling me into the bar where the others were waiting with drinks for us. "Thanks guys." He told them and Dave nodded in return signalling that he was responsible for them. Grinning I sipped my drink and relaxed as I enjoyed spending some time with the team in a more relaxing setting.
