Isabella:

I slip into the sleeveless ivory dress, being careful not to step on the train as I walked over to the mirror. My small bump was now coming into view. How didn't I notice this before?

I smooth the dress down, but it didn't help. I sigh as I grab the gift box I bought, folding in the baby onesie along with the sonogram. I tie my hair up into a loose bun, before leaving through the patio. Walking down the slate steps, I headed towards the beach.

It was already dark, with only the moon and the stars, littering streams of light all over the sand. As I walked further along the beach, I spot more light, coming from string fairy lights that were wound up around a rose covered gazebo.

Rose petals scattered on the sand came into view, leading me to the gazebo where a single round table wrapped in a feather white tablecloth and a set of chairs were set up. Candles flickered in the steady wind, guiding me to the man I love who was standing only inches away.

"You did this?" I breath out in awe. He gives me his familiar smile before grabbing onto my waist, kissing the top of my head.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it." I whisper, pulling him into a hug.

"You look beautiful as always amore." He murmurs into my ear as he laces his fingers with mine. We move over to sit under the gazebo. He pulls out a chair for me before sitting opposite me. I quickly hide the box underneath the table as he starts to speak.

"I didn't know what food to get you, so I got a range-"

"You mean you went overboard and bought everything?" I roll my eyes at him whilst eyeing the many plates of steaming food around us.

"Maybe." He chuckles.

We take our time eating, savoring every bite of the meal. I can't believe he did all of this for me. The flowers, the candles, the setup, everything was laid to perfection.

"How did your mission go?" I ask after taking a sip water instead of the premium red wine.

He looks at me with a confused expression before finally answering. "It went okay."

"Is everything alright?"

"Nothing for you to worry about tesoro."

I couldn't help but find myself overthinking and I'm guessing Massimo noticed as he grabs my hand across the table, circling his thumb across my palm.

"Don't overthink this Isabella. Everything went well." He reassures me as he brings my hand up to his lips, planting a soft kiss.

"It's just that I get nervous every time you go on a mission. I don't know whether you'll come out dead or alive or-"

"Woah woah where is this coming from?" His piercing emerald eyes stop me from continuing. "Nothing is going to happen to me. Not now, not ever."

His soothing words calm me down and before I know it, Massimo had already walked over to my side of the table, holding his hand out to pull me onto my feet. He tilts my head up to face his, bringing his soft lips down to plant a slow sensual kiss over mine. I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him impossibly close to me. Feeling him groan in my mouth turned me on in all kinds of ways. His tongue pushed at my lips, and I allowed him to enter, our shared breath mingling with each other. We pull away, gasping for some air, with his forehead pressed against mine.

"I love this dress on you baby but right now I want to take it off." He murmurs. I just nod my head, letting him turn me around to unzip my dress.

He takes his time doing so, his masterful fingers grazing the sensitive skin on my back, until my patience ran out and I started squirming in my spot.
