Chapter 10 ~𝑰𝒅𝒌~

"Ben, what are you doing?" Darius shouts.

We kept the dinos away from Ben with the flashlights. Ben finally got in and changed tracks. We all cheered Ben on. Right infront of our eyes the dino came in and snatched Ben but luckily Darius grabbed on to him. I quickly tried to help but the wind was making it harder to go there. I saw...

Bens Hand slipped.

I walked back. No. Ben... his gone.

We just stayed there for a moment.

"We're going back!" Darius shouts.

"What?"

"We are not going to the south docks we are going away from them!" He explains.

He told us we have to get off it now. We saw the taller tree.

"One"

"Two"

"Three"

"Now!"

We all jumped down and bumped really hard into the trees. We all saw we were alright than Kenjie asked.

"Bumpy. Where's bumpy? I lost her when I hit the ground. She gotta be here." He than started to call out for her. We hushed him.

They all started arguing about what to do. We heard them say 60 minutes left. We all ran to the docks. Yaz fell down and we tried to think of a faster way of going there. We looked at Kenjie who was not even mentally here and asked if there is a tunnel that leads to the docks.

He brought us in the tunnels. We ran and saw dead ends. We saw a door and lockers. We looked in the lockers to see a teaser but Kenjie took it and tried opening the door but electrifying himself.

"A walking stick." Brooklyn says giving it to Yaz.

Kenjie looked defeated and helpless. I walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. He looked away from me but didn't push me away.

"Hey-" I was cut off by everyone else shouting at Kenjie till we heard the Voice intercoms saying we have 30 minutes.
Darius tried to help Kenjie calm down but instead he snapped.

"Kenjie, Darius?" I call.

They looked at me.

"The way we came from where does that tunnel end again?" I ask nervously.

"It opens up at the park I guess. Why do you need-" before he could finish we heard a roar or so.

Yaz dropped the teaser and Kenjie took it. We saw it was just a compy but not alone.

They all started arguing and you know honestly I'm tired.

"SHUT UP. YALL FIGHTING WHEN WE NEED TO THINK OF A WAY OUT TO THE DOCKS." I yelled at them. I really hate this yelling thing but they will not stop.

We than heard a Louder roar. We looked to see... Toro. The compies ran away.  It started coming at us so we ran.

"I fucken hate this Dinosaur." I say under my breath.

We saw a vert and went in quickly.

Yaz a Darius tried opening the other vent but it made a big noise. We kept quite hearing if Toro is close.

Toro than pushes head through the vent, almost catching me but Kenjie pulled me towards him. I held onto him.

They finally opened it and we got out.

I saw finally realized what I was doing and let go, clearing my throat. I was about to walk away when we grabbed my arm. He looked at me pleadingy. I just sighed and we held hands. We saw the sign saying 1000 feet up dock. We all ran to it to see its closed. We tried looking for a door. Nothing.

We heard Toro roar.

We all looked at Darius and asked what are we going to do. He said he doesn't know. He started bringing himself down but we encourage him he can do this.

Darius came up with a plan. To much to explain. Let's say we got chased, the place went bomb and Toro gave up.

We started cheering. Kenjie than pulled me into a kiss. I had an 'O' face and looked at the other who looked at eachother.

"Yall dont look suprised" I say.

"Its you and Kenjie we knew it was gonna happen soon." Brooklyn said.

We laughed.

"Well it doesn't get better than that." Darius says

"Wanna bet?" Yaz ask. She pointed at the opening and we ran to the docks to see... no one. We all stayed positive they will be back. I held hands with Kenjie and smiled.

"Barf."Yaz said. We rolled our eyes.
