14. 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝

Pov. Dream

Some time has passed. Drones should fly about 14 hours. We agreed with George that the drones would not move at full speed so that they would not lose or something. Before George went to sleep, we walked about 2 hours. I was also about to go to sleep because it was dark and late. but I waited for George to get up to be able to talk to him for a while. Fortunately, we both had a power bank that allowed us to charge the phone when it was needed.

About 30 minutes later, George called me. we talked for a while until George asked me to go to sleep for a min. 4 hours. I didn't want to prick myself and I was tired myself. I also didn't want to leave Gogi alone for a long time, so I set the alarm clock to wake me up in 5 hours.

The alarm clock rang. I didn't like that thanks. Thanks to the alarm clock in the iPhone it is terrible and I did not know how to change it. I had to ask George to send me a message when he wanted to wake me up. when I got up I called him straight to talk to him again. We both calculated that we had about 6 hours of waiting for the drones to reach their destination. I started to wonder how George remodeled the drone to be able to swim on water. I was just asleep while our drones passed each other.

when the drones were about to arrive, we were supposed to get to our homes, inform ourselves that we were already there and that we were to open the package at the same time. I was hoping the time would be back to normal. If it worked and time would return to normal, we had to wait another 7 hours. we still had to get home. Fortunately, there will be no traffic jams so far. I was supposed to spend the last 6 hours with George. Nothing will ever be the same later.

These 7 hours were the longest hours in my life. They lasted longer than eternity. Meanwhile, I was talking to George. I had no idea what to talk about so I asked him what he would do if the time was back to normal.

George: I have no idea, I would probably live like before. I would record for others, work and live like any other person. What would you do?

I wanted to say that I would fly to him. I wanted to see George in the real world. Not through the webcam. I wanted to touch him. Feel his touch.

Dream: More like always. I'd like to play with Petches and talk to SapNap and Karl. Just like I used to go out with them to the city, to the cinema or to a restaurant.

george: Maybe someday you can go to a restaurant with me

Dream: George ... It sounded like-

George: Yeah, I know what Dream sounded like, and part of it was meant to sound like that, but ... can't we go to the restaurant as friends?

"As friends." It was a shot right in the heartIt also meant that I could only be a friend to Geroge. Now I knew I could forget about my feelings for George.

Dream: Yes, sure. Of course we could go ...

George: What's wrong, Dream?

Dream: Yeah, everything okey just ... I'm a little tired ...you know .. I haven't slept too long.

Dream: Yes, but ...

There was no longer any explanation here. I didn't know what to say to the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, but at the same time that person only saw me as a friend.
