There was no way that Asia was going anywhere near that mutant bug. She had never climbed a mountain before, but she figured she was better off free-styling. Thank goodness her team felt the same way, because it turned out she really sucked at mountain climbing.

"Just gotta find a rock to grab, find a rock..."

Asia nervously reached for a ledge, straining to pull herself up. She put her foot on another ledge, heart momentarily stopping when she slipped.

"Ah!"

Asia managed to gain some footing before she could fall too far, but the next ledge she grabbed broke off completely and she began to fall backwards.

"Woah!"

Someone grabbed Asia's hand and pulled it to a secure cliff. Asia dug her feet into a conveniently-placed hole in the mountain, looking to see who had helped her. It was Mike!

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, thanks to you. Climbing is way more difficult than I thought it would be."

"My tip- map out a path beforehand. You can usually tell which spots are dangerous to grab because they'll be lighter than the rock around them."

"Huh."

Asia did as Mike instructed and began to map out a route while he helped Zoey onto the ledge. After a minute or so, she began to climb the path she had found. She sighed in relief when she got halfway up without slipping.

"Mike, Zoey, this way is safe!"

But before either of them could follow Asia, rocks came tumbling down on them. Asia gasped as they crashed into Cameron and hit the ground.

"Are you guys okay?!"

Mike groaned and gave a weak thumbs up.

"Fine! Just aching!"

"Keep climbing, we'll follow you!"

Asia nodded at Zoey, then looked up to see Lightning climbing away from where the rocks had fallen from. She huffed, climbing with a new determination to get revenge for her teammates.

~~~
Asia was steadily gaining on Lightning, not even noticing how close to the top she was getting. She was just about to call out to the jock when a block of ice knocked him down. Asia looked up, eyes widening when she saw Chef throwing a block of ice at her.
{CONFESSIONAL START}
"This winning advantage better be worth it."
{CONFESSIONAL END}
Asia narrowly grit her teeth as the ice block hit her on the head and knocked her off the mountain. She landed on someone's back and sat there for a moment until her double vision disappeared.
"Sha-ouch..."
Asia looked down to see she was sitting on Lightning. A devious smirk crossed her face and she stood up... then plopped on his back again.
"Remember this the next time you decide to attack my teammates."
Ignoring Lightning's groan of pain, Asia stood up and looked around. She was surprised to see Cameron attempting to climb the mountain with a large wad of gum stuck to his hands.
"Did you get that out of the junk pile?"
"Yep. I think the beetle's busy right now."
At that moment, Sam ran past Asia and Cameron with the beetle speeding after him.
"...you should look through the junk pile. There's probably loads of useful stuff in the thick of it."
"I think I'll stick to free-styling. Now that Mike showed me how, it's actually not that bad. See you at the top!"
Cameron nodded at Asia, then the two began to climb their separate ways.
