chapter twenty five

Jungwon woke up extra late today because he cried all night. He checked his phone only to see '6 missed call, 10+ messages from Myjay' then a phone call came again. It was from jay. Jungwon didn't pick it up. He just stared at it until it hung up by itself. He probably is just pretending to care about me. Jungwon scoffed. He got up and went to the bathroom. He got all washed up and picked up his phone. '10+ missed calls, 20+ messages from Myjay' jungwon put his phone on silent and threw it on the bed. He then went down to eat breakfast.

[Sunoo pov]
I was eating breakfast peacefully as usual while texting sunghoon hyung. Then jungwon came in. He's usually cheerful or smiling but today, his eyebrows are furrowed. He looks like he's annoyed. "What's up with your face?" I asked. Jungwon just glared at me and ate his food with uttering a single word. "Weird" I thought. So i decided to ask sunghoon hyung about it.

Jungwon looks like he's annoyed. Do you think jay's got sth to do with it?

Jay was laying down on his bed, doing literally nothing when his phone lit up.

Idk... He's been ignoring me. I tried texting and calling him several times but he doesn't pick up and left me on read.

No? Well i don't think so... I was working yesterday.
Last seen at 8:36PM

Sunoo nervously looked up and jungwon was chomping on his food aggresively. "Did you and jay fight?" Sunoo asked. Jungwon just glared at sunoo and shaked his head indicating a 'no'. "Then why are you so mad?" Sunoo asked again. "Im not mad" Jungwon said coldly. "You look and sound mad?" "I said i'm not mad!" Jungwon suddenly stood up making a loud screech on the chair. Sunoo flinched and watched as jungwon stomped back to his room. What the hell?

Sunoo calls jay.

[On the phone]
"Hello?"
"Jay hyung!" Sunoo screamed.
Jay put his phone away from his ear because of sunoo's loud voice.
"Woah what?"
"What did you do to jungwon?" Sunoo scolded jay
"I didn't do anything!"
"Then why is jungwon-"
"Look, i've been calling and texting jungwon nonstop since yesterday. He didn't pick up and he left me on read. I'm the one who should be asking you why jungwon is acting like this" Jay cut sunoo off.
"He's been ignoring you too?" Sunoo asked
"Yes"
"Hmph. What's wrong with him. Maybe i'll try to talk to him about it later."
"Tell me what he says"
"I will" Sunoo said and hung up.

"Jungwon-ah~" Mrs. Kim kept knocking on jungwon's door softly. "Come and eat. You'll get sick if you don't..." Mrs kim said softly. Jungwon had locked himself up since morning. It is currently around 7PM and jungwon still hasn't came out of his room. "If something is bothering you, you can tell me~" She kept knocking on jungwon's door. Mrs kim then finally heard a 'click' on his door. Jungwon opened it. He looked like a helicopter flew right over his head. His hair was a mess, his shirt and pants were all wrinkled. His face was red and his eyes were swollen and blood red.

Upon seeing his cousin's state, sunoo yeeted over to jungwon and hugged him tightly. Sunoo rubbed circles around jungwon's back. "Mom, is it okay if me and jungwon eat inside the room?" Sunoo asked, looking at his mom. "Yeah sure. I'll bring to food" Mrs kim smiled and went to the kitchen. "Let's go wonnie" Sunoo held jungwon's hand and made him sat on the bed and he sat beside jungwon.

Then mrs kim came in and put the foods down. "Jungwon-ah~ tell me what happened. Who did this to you? I will punch them in the face" Sunoo asked and chomped on his food. Jungwon chuckled abit and let out a sigh. "Jay hyung... He never loved me..." Jungwon said in a weak tone. "EH?" Sunoo almost choked on his food. "What?! No! You probably misunderstood! Jay loved you very much. It's very obvious" Sunoo stated denying the younger. "He just played with my heart like all the other people he dated." Jungwon looked down. "What makes you think that hm?" Sunoo asked after he calmed down abit. "You know he was supposed to come yesterday. But he didn't." Jungwon said "he probably has his reaso-" "No! I know what kind of person he really is like now. Just a player that hurts you. I thought he changed, but no, he's still the same bully from a few months ago." Jungwon cut sunoo off. Sunoo couldn't say anythingband just stared down.

Everything was silent when suddenly jungwon's phone rang. He sighed aggressively and looked at the contact id. 'MyJay'. Before he could decline it, sunoo took the phone and answered.

"Wonnie?"
"Yeah he's here but he's not gonna talk so i'm gonna be his narrator." Sunoo said as he put the phone on speaker
"Haha okay... So umm.. Wonnie, i wanna say that i'm sorry that i didn't come yesterday it's because-"
"Save it! I don't wanna hear your bullshit. I hate you and i don't wanna see you or hear your stupid voice ever again!" Jungwon shouted and hung up. He took the phone and threw it across the room. He was full of anger and dissappointment so without noticing, tears start to fall from his face. "Hey! Ngl that was rude. But hey, don't cry" Sunoo said and hugged jungwon. He cried even harder on his cousin's neck.

Meanwhile jay, he was very, very badly hurt by jungwon. He never thought that his innocent jungwon would say anything like that. It felt like the sharpest swords stabbed in jay's heart too many times to be counted. It hurt even more than when his parents kicked him out. He messed up big. He cried into his pillows. He never knew that words hurt deeper that the sharpest knives.

Oh ya'll it's getting serious. I didn't plan to make such an emotional chapter. I was just feeling emotional so why not~ im writing this in class bc my class i very very boring. This is a very long chapter bc i hvn't posted in a while. jaywon_enthusiast was right when she said that i looked like i died. Sorry if there are any mistakes bc i didn't check the story.
