chapter twenty eight

-Time skip (a few weeks later after jay planned everything)-

Jungwon was laying on his bed doing nothing when sunoo bursts into his room making him jump "You scared me hyung" Jungwon pouted. "Hehe sorry wonnie, anyway! Go get ready." Sunoo said. "Huh? Why?" Jungwon tilted his head, confused. "Just go get ready! Choose the best outfit that makes you feel confident wonnie!" Sunoo screamed as he ran out of jungwon's room.

Jungwon sighed and went to get ready for who knows what.

He wore something that was comfortable but still stylish and went downstairs. "Wow wonnie, you look cute!" Sunoo said as he stood up from the sofa. "Come on let's go!" Sunoo dragged jungwon out the door and into their parent's car. They sat in the back seat. Jungwon was also surprised to see his parents in the front seat. His dad getting ready to drive and his mom in the passenger seat.

"Okay! Everyone ready? Let's go!" His dad said and drove. They drove to an unfamiliar place. They got off the car and jungwon was looking around. It was a fancy restaurant. There were not many people in the restaurant so it was very comfy. They went inside and the waiters greeted them. The waiters took them to the outdoor. Jungwon was looking around when his vision turned black. "What the-" "Shh wonnie, wait, it's a surprise, just hold my hand and follow me" Sunoo shushed him and jungwon just obeyed.

"Tada!" Sunoo took his hands off jungwon's eyes and let the younger admire the beautiful seen in front of him. Sparkling lights, beautiful evening view and relaxing music playing in the background. It was very beautiful. Jungwon admired the whole entire view and sunoo and his parents smiled. "What is all of this?" Jungwon looked back at his parents and sunoo. "It's a surprise... Come, sit down first." Sunoo said and they took him to sit down at one of the tables. They just ate and chatted about random things.

Once they finished, they were standing up, just admiring the night view. Then sunoo excused himself to the bathroom. And a bit later, his mom did too, and so does his dad. Jungwon was getting a little suspicious of his family's behavior. Then someone tapped on his shoulder. Jungwon turned around and gasped. He was about to faint at the sight he was seeing infront of him that tears start forming in his beautiful boba eyes.

It was jay. He was dressed up, holding a bouquet of flowers.

"J-jay h-hyung?" Jungwon stuttered still not believing what he is seeing. "Hey kitten~" Jay said and opened his arms waiting for jungwon to hug him and he did. He ran up to jay and hugged him, sobbing onto his neck. Jay patted jungwon's back, reassuring him. "H-hyung!" Jungwon cried out. "Hey wonnie, stop crying." Jay patted jungwon's back. He pulled out from the hug and looked at jungwon. His eyes were puffy and his face was red.

Jungwon looked around and saw that all his friends were there. Heeseung, jake, sunghoon and ni-ki were smiling at them. "W-when did you get here hyung?" Jungwon asked. "Just yesterday" Jay said as he wiped jungwon's tears. "Look wonnie, i'm sorry for not coming here earlier. I realised i didn't have any money, so i found a job. I finally saved enough so i can go here to surprise you." Jay said making jungwon broke down again. He felt bad of accusing jay, he felt bad of screaming him, he felt bad for ignoring him. He felt sorry. "I-i'm sorry jay hyung. I d-didn't know. I should've listened to you." Jungwon said looking down making jay hug him. "It's okay wonnie" He patted jungwon's hair.

"So, we are good now?" Jay asked and jungwon nodded. "We can be happy again right?" Jay asked again. But jungwon didn't answer this time. He just looked down as if he felt guilty of something. "Hey wonnie, are you okay?" Jay asked as he lifted jungwon's chin up face him. "I-i'm s-sorry jay h-hyung" He cried.

What's wrong with him?

"Hey what's wrong? Tell me what's wrong bub?" Jay was panicking. Why was jungwon crying?

"I-i... found a-another p-person i love..." He looked down 'crying'. Jay stayed silent for a while so he can process what he heard. "W-what? H-how wonnie? How?" Jay was already tearing up, shaking jungwon's body for an answer. While jungwon just looked down.

Everyone in the room was shocked. Even the waiters. Why? How? When? Questions start filling the room.

"I-i'm sorry jay hyung" He said while jay just crouched down and cried. He cried like he never did before. He was disappointed, heartbroken. But he hoped that whoever this person that jungwon now loves, protects, takes care, and makes jungwon happy. "I-it's okay... i hope w-whoever this is, makes you h-happy and protects you no matter what.. T-thank you for everything w-wonnie" Jay said to jungwon and dropped bouquet he was holding.
