Falling in love with nick goode

I clean the police officer floors every night I kinda hate the night shift don't get me wrong the pay is good but It gets scary at night but officer nick Goode is always here at night which is a plus.

I hear a can drop from the lobby I Lean my broom on the door and check it out I see a can crushed on the ground it was probably the vending machine malfunctioning like it always does but it never crushes the can.

"Hello" I say I feel somebody behind me
I turn around and see nick"goodness you scared the living life out of me" he chuckles
"When's you're shift over?" I pick the broom back up"in like a couple of minutes" he smirks
"I'll wait for you then" he walks off nick always has a tendency of cracking jokes.

I grab the trash bag and walk outside when I hear the grass crumble"funny joke" I said I put the trash bag in the dumpster and look behind me I see a guy in a skull mask he pulls his knife out"oh my god" I  ran back inside of the office

"Nick!" I said in fear"what's going on you ok? You seemed worked up" I catch my breath trying to process what happen"there's a guy in a skull mask in the back with a knife in his hand" he sighs"there's a lot of skull mask copy cats we've been getting prank calls all this week ok you're safe" I groan"nick I get it you think you killed him but the guy had a knife" he groans.

"Where is he?" I point to the back"stay here" he takes his flashlight and goes outside while he does that I go change. I get out of the janitor outfit and put on my clothes I had before I enter here which is a leather jacket with some black jeans and ankle boots.

I sit down on the bench waiting for nick to come from outside he enters"there's nothing out there probably some kid playing a prank" I sigh maybe it was. I grab my car keys and walk up to my car nick opens my car door.

I smile"have a nice night sweetheart" i enter my car I head to my best friend deena house I knock on her door her brother answers
"Hey josh where's deena?" I said he gulps down the pizza he was eating"grieving over sam" I sigh I enter the house and walk into her room.

"Deena?" She throws a note underneath her bed"hey" I can tell she was writing something about sam I sat next to her"what's the note for" she sighs"I can't get over sam" I hug her
"I understand it's tough getting over somebody like that" she leans on my shoulder.

"I'd love to keep sobbing with you but I have work in the morning we can go somewhere tomorrow to cheer you up" she smiles
"Yea ok that'll work" I smile and hug her I enter my car and head home.

I walk up on my porch and see flowers on them I smile and look at the note.

I wonder if he's just doing this to be nice to me either way I appreciate it. I unlock my door when I hear my leaves crunching I turn around and see the same skull mask again I unlocked my door and locked it. Don't panic it's just some stupid kid bothering me

I put the flowers down on my kitchen table and take my clothes off and put my white tank top on with some black shorts I sit down in my living room and started watching tv
"Skull mask copycats everywhere" don't I know it my house phones rings I answer it
"Hello" I said waiting for a response on the other side"hey did you get my flowers" I look over at them again"yes I did thank you for them","you know I'd really like to take you out"

I hear a tap on my window and see skull mask again"y/n?" He says"how far are you from my house nick","like 3 minutes down the road why?" He slides the knife down my window
"That skull mask followed me home"
"I'll be there" I hanged up the phone and stared at him.

Why'd this guy follow me home i heard sirens down the street and he fled the scene I open the door"you ok?" He says"no I'm not that guy followed me home" he sighs he closes the door behind him"want me to stay the night to"oh god no that'll be crazy"I'm fine I'll be ok I promise it was just some kid playing a prank it scared me a little bit but I'm fine" he smirks
"You sure?" I shake my head yes he hugs me and leaves.

I lay down on my couch reading the newspaper
"Shadyside killer skull mask was shot dead by officer nick goode,these copy cats are seriously not funny at all" I said to myself I grab my couch cover and proceeded to doze off on my couch.
