This scene was now quite familiar to you and him. There lied broken dishes and lamp with alchohol bottles shattered around making the air thick with its strong fragrance
Hyunjin stared at you while you sat on the floor hugging your legs against your chest, your heart racing fast as the only sound your throat produced was your sobbs which you tried to hold in but miserably failed
As much as he wanted to comfort you, he knew it won't work.. you were scared- you were scared of him.
A tear left his eye as he felt a sharp pain in his chest.. this wasn't supposed to happen? there was no other time when he wished to be more of a man.. he can't even wipe your tears.. the tears he caused
He neglected you again.. he neglected your feelings, your emotions, your thoughts, your presence.. he neglected you yet again all because he had to put himself before you, before everything, above everyone and now you sat against the wall praying it would pass, praying he would change
You looked up as you noticed Hyunjin had bent down, picking up the shattered pieces of glass but despite the sharp edges cutting through his skin.. it didn't hurt, nothing could hurt more than the thought of you leaving him which he most probably knew was gonna happen soon enough
"stop- you- don't hurt yourself", you crawl towards him, your voice barely above a whisper, "baby why would you-", you get up quickly bringing the first aid
Hyunjin stared at you.. he couldn't believe you were still here, taking care of him yet again just like you always did
you wrap the band aid around his hand after successfully cleaning his wound. He couldn't see this.. you deserved so much better, he wasn't worthy of your love.
You looked up at him, his eyes a little puffy with his cheeks and nose tinted light shade of pink, "don't forget you owe me one now", you bit your lower lip, "I love you Hyunjin alright", You whisper but this time you felt the pain and so did he but you couldn't help it.. he was the only reason why you had some dreams or goals and he was the only reason for you to live but this dancing of your relationship.. it was killing you
Hyunjin couldn't process your words.. as much as he was glad he knew this was not right- were you really this naive or just too blinded by love to see that this is not the relationship worth fighting for, "no you don't understand, I- I broke you again", Hyunjin's voice was just as soft but somehow heavy on your heart, "its alright, I love you trust me", you moved closer to him trying your best to reassure him
"I don't-", Hyunjin looked at you.. your cheeks stained in tears. He hated himself for this more than anything, "-this is not right", Hyunjin leaned in as he pressed his lips against yours for one last time just to capture that divine feeling of flying up with the clouds for the last time
your lips moved slowly against his as you weren't sure with his intentions but somehow this still felt better than anyother kiss you both had shared as maybe a part of you knew that this was the end but you hoped it was wrong.. you needed him amd you knew damn well that he needed you
"I will love you forever, but maybe we will stay together in another life", He whispered as he got up and left.. leaving you all alone by yourself to gather what had happened
He left, and eventhough you knew this day would come eventually, you weren't prepared.. and this was for the good but somehow it didn't feel like it but he knew ending this relationship was the only way and so did you.. cause both of you couldn't get your selves to commit or even promise to stay when needed and in the end one always had to suffer more than thr other-
"you said you'd love me forever", you whisper to yourself shutting your eyes allowing the droplets of your sufferings roll down your cheeks probably escaping until the next time.
