Hyunjin sipped his drink, his eyes unable to move on from you.. how you laughed with the man in front of you as he desperately wished that the joke wasn't funny and your laugh wasn't as real as it used to be with him. He hated seeing you wrapped in someone's else's arms, he hated how you seemed to be so comfortable with a touch that didn't belong to him.

Hyunjin hated how it was so easy for you to forget him, move on from him and find comfort in someone else. He never could blame you for his mistakes but something in his mind couldn't figure out how fast it took you too end it all and leave him alone only to shower your love on someone else while he was forced to watch you going ahead in your life while he just sat there drinking, trying to drown his pain away.

He was confused, not knowing what he was supposed to do now that you're gone and looked so happy with someone else. Wasn't his first break up.. he knew how it was supposed to end and you weren't his first love but the one he thought of as his 'home', his safe place.. you were the one for who he would die protecting, save you from the world.

To Hyunjin, you were everything.. his love, his family, just HIS; never had he thought that there would be a day where he wouldn't be able to wake up by your side, your body away from his. It was as if now he was exiled, banned from his own town, his own homeland he had swore to fight for till the end.. so why had he have to feel the pain now? why was he was forced to walk away?

You could feel Hyunjin's dark gaze lingering on you and the man with whom you had decided to spend the evening with. You could see the jealousy in his eyes, knowing that he was capable to fight for you, and would never mind to lose some blood if it meant to have you beside him. You missed Hyunjin's fingers entangled with yours as you could never feel the same love in the arms of one who loved you now..

You never wanted to leave Hyunjin, tried your best to balance on the thin line, tried your best to heal the injuries of your relationship. You gave him time, so many chances for him to redeem himself, so many promises he made just to break them one by one

You were as broken as him, as remorseful and hurt, unable to explain how it all went wrong. All the fights till the sun rising, broken glasses cutting through your skin.. you knew how it had to end. The love, which once had you seeing the stars now only showed you the darkness with no way out. You always felt like the problem.. the one forcing him on yourself. You were his burden all you wanted was him to be free

If you sat down and asked yourself.. Hyunjin was your prize.. a prize you would cheat to win. In your head he was your king and you were his queen but your little kingdom was just in your head. Everything had to eventually fall down which it did and you still tried but in the end.. you were forced to walk away

Hyunjin was never able to figure you out. As much as he tried to make things better, he never was able to look into it.. to learn where and how things went wrong.. what made you leave without a sign and without allowing him to express himself. To him everything was sudden

You weren't able to understand his ways either. You cursed him for so long, hated him for never be able to be the one he promised to be. You showed him so many signs he never wanted to see.
