Chapter nine: the race towards victory

y/n POV
as everyone stood infront of a big gate,midnight reminded us "as long as you dont leave the course,you can do anything you want! GO!!!" she yelled as the gates opened and everyone started running

just when I thought I could stay on my feet and not get trampled on,todoroki froze the ground,causing most of us to get stuck,as I saw aoyama,bakugo,kirishima and yaoyurozu running in front of us,I started to melt the ice

"NO FAIR Y/N!" mina exclaimed as I started running while melting the ice with my every step,I looked behind me and saw some other students breaking free from the ice when something landed 4 inches infront of me,I looked up and saw a giant robot

'its the entrance exams all over again'  I smirked as I quickly made a big lava battle axe and chopped the robot's arm off

"see ya on the other side y/n!!" mina yelled as she ran passed me "we'll see about that" I muttered as I made a huge wave of lava and splashed the robot,causing it to melt

another robot started running towards me as I lifted 4 lava balls from the ground "come at me" I muttered as a certain yellow haired boy jumped on the robot and shocked it with his electricity

"good job pikachu!!" I yelled as I started running,I saw a few students ahead of me and a huge robot that was covered in ice fall infront of us "this race is too intense!" one student said "thats the whole point" I replied as I climbed over the fallen robot

"not cool todoroki- WOAH!!" I fell on my back and awkwardly slid to the ground,I got up,dusted myself and continued running,I then saw uraraka,Mina and tsuyu standing at the edge of a cliff and todoroki already running on the other side

"are we supposed to walk across the ropes to get on the other side?" I asked "yup...but if we fall....we're done for" uraraka said as tsuyu hopped to the middle of one rope and carefully walked across

"clever" I smirked as I made a small volcano that was big enough to fit a human being or in my case...me "uh...what are you doing y/n?" mina asked as I hopped in my little volcano and curled up into a ball "I'm gonna shoot myself across" I said as i smiled like a child

"is that safe?" uraraka asked "hehe.....nope" I said as I saw iida on the ropes with his engines pushing him across while his arms were stretched out for balance "sayonara!" I yelled as I shot myself out of the volcano

iida finally reached the other side "IIDA WATCH OUT!!!" I yelled as I fell on top of him "Kasai...that was very dangerous!!" he yelled as he got up "never do that again!!" he continued as I stood up "thanks for the tip class rep!" I yelled as I continued running

I made a small wave of lava,I hopped on and surfed on it until I got to the next and final stage,I saw todoroki slowly walking through an open space 'looks like they put land mines around this area' i thought as I heard bakugo yell "GET OUT OF MY WAY EXTRA!"

he aimed his hands towards the ground as a few explosions picked him off the ground and blasted his way towards todoroki

I carefully looked at the ground and spotted the land mines,I started running,carefully trying not to step on a land mine,I finally caught up to todoroki and bakugo who were currently fighting

until a loud and big explosion happened at the beginning of the mine field,I stopped and looked back and saw thick pink fog rising as midoriya flew above me with a piece of metal as I tried to catch up with todoroki and bakugo

midoriya flew straight towards the two boys as he planted his feet on both their backs and slammed the piece of metal on the ground,creating a big explosion which pushed midoriya towards the finish line

bakugo and todoroki reached the finish line as I nezuko ran towards the finish line "NEZUKO RUN COMING THROUGH!!" I yelled as I ran inside the arena and collapsed on my back in a star like position

"AND IN FOURTH PLACE IS Y/N KASAI LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!" present mic yelled through a megaphone "fourth...place..isn't...so bad" I panted as midoriya helped me up "well done midoriya" I said as I playfully punched midoriya's arm

"DEKU!!" uraraka yelled as more students ran through the finish line and into the arena "uraraka!" midoriya exclaimed as he walked over to her "can someone help me?" yaoyurozu panted as she walked towards me

"best idea ever" mineta said from yaoyurozu's back "you are the worst!!" she said as I tried to pull mineta off her back and saw mina running towards us "Mina,a little help?" I said "no problemo" she said as she helped me pull mineta

we were finally able to remove mineta from yaoyurozu's back and dropped him on the ground, mineta stood up and inhaled our smell and ran away "he's such a perv" mina said with a disgusted look on her face
