Chapter twenty four: enough is enough

Narrator POV
"I knew there was something off about Meg" Midoriya muttered "we need to find her" y/n said while leaning on the wall "Kasai,you're bleeding!" Shoji exclaimed while running out of the elevator

"we need to take you to Recovery Girl!" he said "it's nothing I can't stitch up" y/n groaned as she made her way to the bathroom

y/n washed the wound and wrapped it up in bandages. she made her way to her room and set up Meg's computers "what are you doing?" Midoriya asks "when we were younger,my mom implanted tracking devices in us so if we ever get kidnapped,she could track us" y/n answered

"that's smart" Shoji replies as a small red dot appears on the screen "isn't that...right infront of the school?" Jirou asks "it's Meg!" Midoriya exclaimed "that's not Meg" y/n mutters as she grabs her coat and dashes out her room

"y/n?" Kaminari starts "stay inside" y/n says while leaving the building "I have a bad feeling about this" Sato mutters.

she makes her way out the gate and see a small box near a street light ,with a note and tracking device on top of it 'this....this is dad's tracking device....it...can't be...'

the note read:

~bring your mother's flashdrive to the house tomorrow at midnight.
come ALONE
or I kill her~
-dad

when y/n open the box, her body freezes. a picture of Meg,tied up to a chair with her face all bloody...and an eyeball,sat in the box.

Mr. Aizawa notices y/n standing out the gate while patrolling the area. he approaches her and sees what she's holding

Aizawa POV
I take the box from y/n's hands and close it "Kasai-" but before I could continue with my sentence,y/n hugs me tightly.

flashback

"Shouta...could you do me a favor?" Emi asks over the phone "what is it?" I reply "if I ever...die....take care of y/n and Meg for me. you're the only one I could trust" she says "could you do that for me?"

"....yeah...I could do that" I answer "thanks cous..." she says softly "be safe Emi...I love you" I say "love you too" Emi replies before ending the call

end of flashback

"don't worry Kasai" I say softly while patting y/n's back 'i will keep you all safe...I give you my word'

time skip/ the next day/ midnight

y/n POV
before I started highschool,mom gave me a flashdrive that kept all her future plans for her agency and the family....but....there must be something else in the flashdrive that dad wants.

I grab the flashdrive and carefully make my way off campus. my legs feel weak but the rest of my body was full of adrenaline.

Narrator POV
the neighborhood was quiet,dark and cold. crickets chirped as y/n walked.

with each step she took,she grew more worried

'what if I'm too late?'

y/n walked up the porch of the house that she called home,and was surprised to see the door slightly open.

she took a deep breath and entered the house.

"did you bring the flashdrive?" a voice asks "where's Meg you bastard" y/n quickly says "hand over the flashdrive...and I give you your sister" the voice replies

"you murdered your own wife and son...and for what? a damn flashdrive?!" y/n snaps as she tries to hold back her tears from all the anger

the light switches on,revealing Takashi,holding a gun to Meg's head "give me the flashdrive..or your sister dies" he says "give it to him y/n" Meg pleaded

"you have 5 seconds y/n!" Takashi yells "5....4...." he starts as tears stream down Meg's face. y/n stood frozen,with the flashdrive in her hands

"3.....2.....1...."

BAM

blood splattered on the ceiling,windows and floor. Takashi sighed and approached y/n "I didn't want to do this kiddo" he whispered while grabbing the flashdrive from her hand.

as he walked out the door,bright lights surrounded the area and police sirens wailed "drop the weapon and put your hands behind your head!" a voice echoed through a megaphone.

y/n held the corpse's hand but as she did,the body melted into grey goo. "I knew it" y/n muttered as she quickly searched the house.

she entered the basement and saw Meg,tied up in a chair,with her face covered in blood. y/n ran to her sister and hugged her tightly "y/n....." Meg whispered "I'm here... you're safe now" y/n replied as she formed a small knife out of lava and cut the ropes on Meg's wrists

"y/n....the flashdrive....." Meg whispered as y/n cradled her body in her arms "don't worry...it's safe" y/n said "I'm sorry Meg....for everything" she says "it's alright...." Meg sighs as footsteps rush inside the basement

time skip/ few weeks later

y/n enters Meg's hospital room and lets out a relieved sigh "glad to see you awake" she smiles while placing the bouquet of flowers on the side table "I have a badass eye patch now" Meg chuckles while pointing to her eye patch.

"sis...." y/n starts "hmm?" Meg replies "about you going to boarding...." y/n says "yeah yeah I know...I have no choice but to go where it's safer" Meg rolls her eyes "you can decide whether to go or not" y/n says "what?!" Meg exclaims

"I talked with auntie Katherine and....she wanted you to decide" y/n said.

after a long thought,Meg made her decision "I think it's best for me to go to a boarding school....I don't want you to keep worrying about me when you're worrying about yourself" Meg says "I want you to finish your training and become a hero.....it's why you went to UA right?" she adds

I know it has just been a few weeks BUT,I really made alot of progress with those few weeks.
ALSO,I am sorry to say this but our journey will be ending soon.
and for the next chapter,I will be focusing more on Kiri and y/n cuz...that's the main reason I made this fanfic
