"How- why- Is this for real?! We came the exact same way, what's going on here?!" Sakamoto shouted.

The school doors opened and a man stepped out to greet them. "That's what I should ask you two." He said. "We received a call from the police."

Akira held back the urge to sigh. "Of course... couldn't even make it through one day..."

"Damn snitch..." Sakamoto muttered.

"It's rare not to see you alone, Mr. Sakamoto. Where have you been, it's lunchtime already."

"Uh... a-a castle?"

The man raised a brow at him. "So you have no intention of giving an honest answer?"

Before either of the boys could retort another voice interrupted the conversation. "What's this about a castle?" The voice turned out to be... Kamoshida? And he looked normal again too. He was back to wearing regular clothes and looked something like a professional teacher again; only adding to the two boys' confusion. One minute he was a maniac in a castle, and the next he was an average high school teacher? He stood next to his fellow staff member and looked down at them. "You seem so carefree, Sakamoto. Quite a difference from when you were on the track team." Akira took note of how Sakamoto's eyes narrowed at this information.

"Shut up! It's your fault that-!"

"How dare you speak to Mr. Kamoshida like that?!" The other man interrupted.

"He's the one that provoked me!" Sakamoto argued.

"Do you want to be expelled?" The man sighed. "You'll have to explain yourself. Follow me to the guidance office."

"Ugh, this is bull-" Sakamoto was interrupted by Kamoshida again.

"Come on, counselor, I should have been more considerate." He said, with a smile. "Let's just say we were both to blame, and they can head on inside with no more interruptions."

Akira narrowed his eyes suspiciously at Kamoshida. Why did he provoke Sakamoto and then defend them in the very next second? Was he just a dick, or was there more to this than he was aware of? So far, all he knew was that Sakamoto had a particularly festered hatred for this teacher and he wasn't privy about why. (Not that it was any of his business, but his curiosity was getting the better of him.)

"Well, if you say so, coach." The counselor said. "Still, you're coming with me Mr. Sakamoto, you're extremely late."

Sakamoto conceded and went up the steps to follow him inside. But first he stopped to give Kamoshida a death glare that rivaled any Akira had seen. Kamoshida ignored this and turned his attention to Akira at last.

"You're the new transfer student, correct?"

"Yes." Akira replied, promptly.

Kamoshida looked him over from the top of the steps and asked. "Have we met somewhere?"

Akira went up the steps and answered, "I saw a girl in your car this morning." It was an honest answer, even if it was also the one that made Akira's stomach churn with unease. What had happened to her? Hopefully, she was safe in class...

"Oh, yeah, I remember now!" Kamoshida said. Seems that it being related to a female had a profound effect on his memory. "Well, listen I'll overlook this for today. I'm sure you've heard from the principal, but cause any trouble and you'll be expelled. Understand? So get on up to the faculty office, I'm sure Ms. Kawakami is tired of waiting."

Akira nodded without protest and went to open the door. As he did Kamoshida added, "Good luck trying to enjoy your new school life."

Perhaps Akira was just hearing things but that tone sounded... malicious...
