~Normal POV
9/7 - Wednesday
Akira got up to find Morgana had moved to the couch in the middle of the night. The boy grabbed his packed suitcase for his trip and walked over to him.
"Morning... Did you sleep on the couch last night?"
Morgana didn't turn to face him. "...Maybe."
Akira frowned. "Morgana, seriously, is something wrong? You've been acting strange."
"We'll talk about our next job when you get back." Morgana replied, ignoring Akira's concern.
The boy was about to press him for a clear answer, but he had to get going or he'd miss the flight. He frowned at the cat once more. "Ok... We'll be back on Monday. Futaba and Boss will take good care of you. Goodbye Morgana..."

When Akira met up with Ann and Makoto at the airport, it was already evening. The plane was set to leave at night. The place was already packed with students. Ann greeted him with a tired smile.
"I'm sleepy..." She said, leaning against Akira's shoulder.
"It's a six hour flight; you can sleep on the plane," Makoto pointed out.
Ryuji ran up to them at this point, and doubled over panting. He even winced slightly from his leg acting up. "Phew! I wasn't expecting to make a mad dash like this..."
"At least you made it on time!" Akira said, "We're going to leave soon."
"You were late on a day like this?" Ann remarked.
"And that's all you're bringing?" Makoto said, gesturing to Ryuji carrying a large backpack instead of a full suitcase like everyone else had.
Ryuji finished catching his breath and stood back up. "Yeah? It's only four nights right? Ain't it enough?"
"Maybe for you." Akira said, dryly.
"See? He agrees!"
"I think he was being sarcastic..." Makoto said.
Mishima came by to tell them that everyone needed to gather at the boarding gate soon. Once he'd walked away, Ann suggested that they take a celebratory group picture before they leave. Akira took the photo on his phone, of the four of them close together.
"There, it turned out fi- What the..." Akira stared down at his screen. Futaba had suddenly sent him a text.
Futaba: [Ryuji, you've got crap in your eyes.]
Ryuji read the message over his shoulder. "What the hell!?" He went to rub his eyes. "Wow, she's right!?"
"How could she tell?!" Ann asked, completely baffled.
Futaba: [You surprised? I snuck an app on Akira's phone. I can see all I want through his camera! :) Mwehehe! You can't underestimate the original Medjed.]
Akira's jaw dropped. He'd have to be careful with how much he used his camera now. Apparently Futaba wanted a firsthand view on what Hawaii looked like without having to actually leave...
"Talk about a nasty trick..." Ryuji muttered, grumpily.
"I am so glad she's not our enemy..." Makoto said, in relief.

9/8 - Thursday
Akira had never been to Hawaii before, but his first impression was that it was quite a beautiful location. Very tropical and serene. Ryuji was way more excited than he was though, even shouting about it when they spotted the island through the plane windows. Almost like he thought this would be some daring getaway location. After getting to their hotel from the buses, they had to wait around in the lobby for their room assignments. Akira was standing with Ann holding his arm, with Ryuji and Mishima with them; since the two boys had sat next to him on the plane. Ryuji was still gushing about how happy he was to be here.
