Your POV:
Last night still had you a little shaken up but you weren't going to let it ruin your day! You got up took a shower and just put on some casual clothes. Tomioka was coming around 12:30 it was about 10 so you just got some snacks out and picked out some movies. You also remember a fun fact you learned someday while scrolling thru your phone back in your world. Tomioka likes to play shogi (the Japanese version of chess) and enjoys checkmating his opponents. Somebody knocked on the door. It was only 10:15 but you got up and saw shinobu.
"Oh good morning kocho!" I said
"good morning l/n! I came by to see if your alright?" She asked I was slightly confused
"I'm fine...why do you ask?" I asked
"oh well I came home a little late last night and I bumped into a man. I've never saw him before so I asked him what he was doing at the apartment complex and he explained how he walked you home cause of a little 'incident'." She said
"oh you yeah...he was kind enough to walk me home after saving me. I really appreciate the fact that you check up on me. Thank you kocho, it's nice to have such a nice neighbor." I said smiling
"o-oh I-it's really no problem. A-anyway I gotta go. See you l/n!" She said rushing back to her apartment. I thought it was strange but didn't think to much about it.

I heard a knock on my door and I open to see Tomioka
"Tomioka! I'm so glad you came! Please come in!" I said opening the door.
"Make yourself comfortable while I make us some tea!" I said going to the kitchen. I came back with the tea and he was already on the couch. I handed him a drink
"thank you." He said
"your welcome. So did you have anything specific you wanted to do?" I asked
"oh no. I didn't really think about it. What about you?" He asked
"well I have shogi, I don't know if you've ever played it but we could do that." I suggested. I noticed it caught his attention
"I like playing shogi." He said
"great then we can do that!" I said, I already knew I was gonna lose but I was going to at least try.

3 rounds. I lost 3 times.
"I'm guessing you don't play this very often." He asked
"no I don't, but it's still fun." I said
"so why did you want to hangout with me of all people?" He asked
"why not?" I answered his own questions with my own.
"Well I know I can come off as well anti-social and I mostly don't do well with interacting with people." He said rubbing the back of his head
"well, I think your pretty nice even though your a bit quite. I also enjoy some conversation I've had with you. So I would like to be your friend." I said, he was quite for a few seconds
"i would really like that too." He said

After about 4 hours he left. I knew we got closer. I decide to take a walk thru a forest. Then I walked into a little opening in the forest.

I decided to lay in the grass and just listen to the water running, then I felt a pebble hit my face. "Ow!" I looked to see who threw it and I saw genya. Sanemis younger brother. I he looked at me "tch" he made the sound with his mouth. I got up and walked over to him.
"What do you want?" He asked rather rudely 'man their so much alike' I thought
"I don't know. You seem angry." I said
"like it's any of your d@mn business." He said looking away
"you remind of a certain someone I know." I said "really who?" He asked
"I don't know if you know him but his name is Sanemi Shinazugawa." I said knowing full well he knows him
"you know my brother?!" He said surprised
"what he's your brother I had no idea!" I said
"yeah he's my brother. Even thought we don't get along that well..." he said looking at the stream.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Siblings fight very often, but even so they still love each other. Im sure whatever you two are going through can be resolved just by talking to each other! But I get that sometimes people need time. My suggestion by the way instead of throwing pebbles at people, try laying down closing your eyes and listening to the river running." I said grabbing his hand and having him lay down on the grass. I laid down next to him and closed my eyes

After about 2 hours of just listening to the river run I got up
"your leaving already?" He asked
"it's been two hours. Plus the suns going down it's dangerous around that time. You never know who's out there. I wish you the best of luck with working things out with your brother!" I said walking away.

I was doing a little study session with inosuke over the phone. He asked for my help so I explained to him the best I could and he seemed to be getting the hang of it. I was proud that he was trying to improve.

I got into my pajamas and quickly got into bed and went to bed. Everything seems to be going good...then why does something tell me that it isn't.
