It was over.

Really, truly, finally over.

All of the months of searching, all of the heists, everything that's gone down. Eda the Owl Lady was free from her stone prison, able to go home and be wth her family. Though she would normally go out with a bottle of Apple Blood and drink the night away to celebrate, she just decided to stay at home and relax with her loved ones.

Though with this, Luz would have to move out of Eda's room, but she did agree to make her daughter her very own nest. Though, this was interrupted as Lilith had called Luz, Eda, King, and Amity to meet her in the front yard of the Owl House.

Luz: So, what did Tia want to talk about?

Amity: Beats me.

Eda: Hopefully it;s nothing too serious. I want to down that hot cocoa Rainstorm's making in there, then go to sleep in my own nest like a sleepy little owl.

The four turned to spot Lilith smiling as she walked out the door, a rucksack tied around Ravenna on her staff.

Lilith: Oh good, you all made it.

King: Yeah, you mind telling us what this is about? I have some sleep to get too.

Lilith: Well, you see. I've been thinking.... Since Edalyn is now back and I doubt she'd want me around after all I've done, I've decided to go back home to Mother for the rest of the season and make up for lost time.

The gang looked in surprise at the witch's choice.

Luz: What?

Amity: Mom.........

Eda: Lily?

King: You lived here?

Hooty: WHAT?!

Lilith: I know you say you forgive me Edalyn, but that doesn't mean I forgive myself. I need to go back, truly find myself. Plus, it would be nice to go home for a while and reconnect with Dad.

At this, Eda looked away in guilt as Luz held her hand in comfort, making her smile at her surrogate daughter.

Amity: I....I can't just.... *tears up* I finally have a mother figure I can trust and she's leaving....?

Lilith looked at the purple haired witch, going onto one knee as she grabbed Amity's shoulders.

Lilith: Amity, no. I'm not doing this to hurt you, I'm doing this for my self-redemption. I need to learn to truly see myself in a better light than I did in the past. Actually, uz helped a bit with that. But before I go, I have a gift for you.

Lilith reached into her sack and pulled out a piece of paper, handing it to the witchling. Amity took it into her hands and read it over. As she read, she stopped midway, gasping as her eyes flooded with tears and a wavering smile formed on her face.

Luz: What? What is it, Atty? What are those?

King walked over to the paper that was slipping out of Amity's hand, grabbing it and reading it over.

King: It's..... It's an adoption form.

Luz: Tia? You're adopting Amity?

Lilith: Yes. I felt that since I am the only fitting mother figure Amity has and I certainly have a place for her in my heart, why not make it official? With her approval, Amity will be accepted into the Clawthorne clan, family alone. *smirks at Luz* Don't worry, Darling. You two can still carry your love, I'd rather die than watch Lumity sink anyway.
