Hey you, why did you go? Where we last off, we saw Lilith and Amity going to the past through a Time Pool in order for Lilith to get an idea for her exhibit at the museum as an assistant curator and for Amity to question Philip for Luz about his actions before becoming Emperor Belos. Right now, the two then proceeded into the older version of Bonesborough, taking in the sights.
Lilith: Now, remember Darling. We are technically in the Savage Ages, way before Belos banished wild magic. These denizens may be dangerous!
Just then, Lilith bumps into a demon. Expecting an attack, Amity gets into a defensive posture, only for the demon to...... tip his hat in a kindly manner?
Demon: Good tidings, kind witches.
Lilith and Amity are surprised by this as they look around to see that the town was much more peaceful and harmonious than they imagined. Residents can be seen playing musical instruments, helping each other out, and summoning Abominations at will. The duo looks at everything with amazement.
Amity: This doesn't look dangerous. This looks awesome! Why did Belos want to banish wild magic?
Lilith: Well, the Titan supposedly doesn't like it.*notices something* Oh, my gosh! look at this thatch work. Each segment looped by hand!...... But I bet Flora would scoff at it.
As Lilith talks down on herself, Amity then approaches a demon sitting on a bench feeding birds and shows him a drawing of Philip Wittebane's silhouette.]
Amity: Excuse me. Have you seen a human around? Round ears, blonde hair, kinda freaky looking. Honestly, he's probably the town crank about now.
Demon: Sorry, I'm afrad not.
She then proceeds to ask multiple other denizens of Philip's whereabouts, but all that she got in response were declines of any sightings. As Amity turns glum, Lilith puts a hand on Amity's shoulder to comfort her daughter, only for them to hear someone shouting nearby.
???: Dance, human. Dance!
They peek out from behind a wall and see 2 demons ganging up on someone, throwing a book at each other and back.
???: Give that back! *exasperated* I can't believe this. After the bonds of fellowship we forged-
Red Fang: Bonds? Ha! You still owe us.
Red Fang gives the person a hard push, causing him to fall to the ground.
???: When I accomplish my mission, I promise you, you'll have your snails.
Green Fang: *reads book* Hey Red, listen to this. "With my new and bravest companion, Blue Fang, I set forth. His strength should make fast work of any task." *passes book to Red Fang*
Red Fang: His pretty little words should make pretty good kindling.
Red Fang then ignites a fire with a spell circle and attempts to burn the book as the person gasps. Suddenly, a tendril of Abomination clay suddenly whips forth, cracking at the book and knocking it out of Red Fang's hand, surprising the demons. Amity in her Spotted Sludge disguise steps forward, grabbing their attention.
Sludge: That doesn't belong to you.
Growling, Red Fang attempts to attack Sludge, but is stopped by Green Fang.
Green Fang: Don't waste your time on the kid. We should keep looking.
Red Fang: *nods, to Amity* Ask your friend there what happened to our brother, Blue Fang, and his Palisman.
Green Fang kicks on the scattered journals and walks away with Red Fang. The person starts picking up the journals, but suddenly yelps in pain and holds on to his right leg. Sludge runs off to change out of her disguise, coming back as Amity with the helmet as she then helps him pick up some of it. She looks at one of the pages, which shows a drawing of Eclipse Lake.
