CHAPTER 14

Lisa :

" I need to be honest with you ." I turn to face Jung Kook , seeing that he's busy looking at the group of men who will be riding with us . then , he looks down at me " I have completely forgotten how to ride a horse " he mutters under his breath and within seconds one of the men starts to approach us , causing him to sigh .

" your highness , will you be riding today ?" he asks with a smile on his face before glancing in my direction . Both Jung Kook and I return the smile . From the look on Jung Kooks face , I know he doesn't want to turn down the challenge but neither of us really know how to ride a horse , well , except for him , he used to ride very well but has forgotten

" Of course " Jung Kook replies

Then , he disappears back into the crowd before they all walk towards their horses , getting ready for the ride . I turn to look at Jung Kook once more and place a hand on the side of his face , confusing him , but he stays still . we are looking deeply into each others eyes . " Try , you might remember how " I say as I smile

He chuckles " Might "

" It's better than nothing " I reassure him as he looks back at me ." Trust me get on that horse and show me . we'll get the hang of it together . how does that sound ?" I lightly tap his cheek before walking towards the two horses that belong to Jung Kook and me

When I turn to look at him , I see that he has a slight smile on his face as he slowly caresses the side of his white horses face but both of his eyes still on me . Within seconds he has already made his way towards me , slowly picking me up by the waist to place me on my horse

With a loud chuckle , I manage to grab other people's attention but Jung Kook doesn't seem to be bothered as he laughs , surprised at my reaction . Trust me , we'll appear in the news and my face will probably look like crap- since the reporters are busy capturing our pictures at all times .

" There " he says , looking up at me

Once he's on his horse , he starts to move a little bit to the front , trying to get the hang of it while I stay still , watching his every movement . Slowly , I try to get along with me horse by caressing the side of his face - until we finally manage to make them move towards the crowd .

" It has been a while since you've ridden . Are you sure you'll be alright ?" one of the men asks

For some reason , Jung Kook finds it a challenge because he starts to clench his jaw before smiling .

My heart beats thump hard as I look at Jung kook, who is a few feet away from me . Just by the look of him right now , he seems exceptionally flawless. The way his messy black hair hair is being blown by the wind and his eyes light up under the sun - he looks breathtaking.

He looks at me and asks ," you coming ?"

"Yeah , " I reply moving forward

We have a whole crowd watching us and I awkwardly sit on my horse , who won't move .

Meanwhile, Jung kook has already gotten the hang of his horse . He sees that I'm struggling, which causes him to turn back and get off .

To my surprise, he picks me up by the waist and places me on the ground. I think that he will walk with me back to the stable but I thought wrong . Instead, he picks me up bridal style- causing my cheeks to heat up immediately. The whole crowd starts to cheer and stand up , especially because we are newlyweds.

" What are you doing?" I ask

" Carrying you " he replies as he looks down at my face . My heart continues to beat fast because our faces are inches apart and our public intimacy doesn't seem to bother him much . Then , he places me on his horse and climbs on after .
