"It's aliens. It has to be." Ned spoke, as he and a hand full of students stood watching the news report about 'Mysterio'.

"Buzzfeed says there's a sailor names Morris Bench who was exposed to an experimental underwater generator and got hydro powers." Flash said.

"Yeah, you should definitely believe everything you read on the internet." Poet huffed.

"Spider-Man could take him." Flash continued.

"What do you think it is?" Mr. Harrington asked.

"You know, being a man of science..." Mr. Dell began. "...witches."

"Who is that guy?" Betty wondered.

"He's like Iron Man and Thor rolled into one."

"He's all right." Flash scoffed. "He's no Spider-Man."

"What is it with you and Spider-Man?" Poet asked, slightly amused.

"What? He's just awsome, okay? He protects the neighborhood, and you know, he's inspiring. He inspires me to be a better man." Peter emerges into the crowd after speaking with aunt May. "'Sup dickwad? I thought you drowned."

"Sounds like his name's Mysterio." Brad said.

"L'uomo del misterio is Italian for man of mystery. They don't actually know who he is." Poet corrected.

"Mysterio..." Ned pondered.

"Cool name." Both he and Betty said at the same time. "Babe!"

"Oh my god, Poet!" MJ shrieked, and the crowd almost parted to see Poet had collapsed.

"Everybody give her some space." Mr. Dell said, keeping everyone back. "Did anybody see what happened?"

"She just passed out." MJ said. "I mean, I told her she didn't look good, but I didn't think she would just-"

"Don't panic." Peter assured her, crouching down beside the unconscious girl. "Poet? Poet can you here me?"

"Alright, we should get her to bed." Mr. Harrington suggested. "Would you be okay to take her to her room?"

"W- yea, of course."

-----

With great struggle, Peter managed to get the door open. However, as he stepped inside the room, he immediately noticed someone sitting inside.

"Shut the door." Peter kicked the door shut behind him. "You're a very difficult person to contact, Spider-Man."

"You're Nick Fury." He said, gently placing Poet down on her bed. "Can we make this quick, I don't want to wake her."

"What's wrong with her?"

"Nothing, this just happens sometimes if she tries to use her power too much." He sighed.

"Well, it's good to finally meet you. I saw you at the funeral, but I didn't think that was a good time to exchange numbers."

"No, that would have been really inappropriate."

"That's what I just said."

"Right."

"The important thing is, you're here." Fury sighed. "I tried to bring you here. You avoided me, and now, you're here. What a coincidence."

"Wait..." Peter began. "Was this a coincidence?"

"I used to know everything. Then, I come back five years later and now, I know nothing. No intel, no team, and a high school kid is dodging my calls. Here's what I do know... a week ago, a village in Mexico was wiped out by a cyclone. Witnesses say that cyclone had a face. Three days later, a similar event in Morocco. A village was destroyed by what may well be another world-threatening-" A knock comes from the door.

"Peter, are you in there?!" MJ called.

"Yep! Won't be a minute!"

"Suit up." Fury said.

-----

"Okay, drink lots of water and I'm gonna get you a vitamin C pill. You cannot get sick, okay?" Betty said as she and Ned walked out of the hotel the next morning.

"Okay. Thanks baby." Ned replied as she trotted off.

"If you say 'babe' or 'baby' one more freaking time, I'm gonna punch you." Poet sassed, and he just shook his head at her.

"Hey, guys." Peter said, catching up to the two. "You okay?"

"Me?" Poet questioned. "Yeah, I'm fine. I mean, I have like a neck cramp, but appart from that, I feel fine." She smiled. "And I think there was someone in my room last night." Peter's face dropped as he and Ned shared a look.

"Uh... what? Who?"

"You."

"Oh!" He breathed. "Right, yeah, sorry about that. I just wanted to check you were actually breathing."

"Why wouldn't I be breathing?"

"It's not normal for people to just collapse like that." He reasoned, and she just shrugged.

"Good news! We're going to Prauge! Huh!" My. Harrington exclaimed.

"Oh, he did not!" Poet gasped.

"What?" Ned questioned.

"I uh... don't freak out, okay?"

"What?!"

"The other day, I was at home, and uh... Nick Fury was in my room just sitting in the dark and said he needed some help with something and that we needed to go to Prague, and I more or less told him to shove it because I was gonna be on this trip then, and I guess he just hijacked our summer vacation." Mr. Harrington lead them around the corner of a building.

"Look at our upgraded ride!" Mr. Harrington cheered.

"So... you know Nick Fury?" Peter asked.

"Yeah." She sighed. Everyone boards the bus, but the driver grabs Poet's arm as she passes. She turned her head. "Dimitri."

"You're needed." He simply said.

"No." She said again.

"He told me to tell you that he isn't asking this time." Poet let out a slight growl, before tugging her arm away and taking a seat.

-----

"Yo, what's up Flash Mob? It's your boy, the big F. Cruisin' through the Alps with my private driver, Dimitri." Flash said loudly as he live-streamed. Poet chuckled to herself slightly, as she subtly looked over Peter's shoulder as he flicked through his phone.

"'Top 10 Romantic Places in Prauge'?" She questioned and he jumped slightly, covering his phone. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing. Nothing." He poorly excused.

"It's not nothing." She scoffed.

"It's just for Ned... y'know, he had a big plan for Betty in Paris so now he's having to improvise."

"Oh." She sighed. "What kind of plan? Was he gonna take her to the top of the Eiffel Tower and confess his love for her and fireworks go off in the background and everything is just perfect?"

"D- do you think that would be a bad idea."

"What? No! That would be so freaking cute. Can you imagine!" She gasped, and he cracked a smile. "It would be so perfect to share that moment with the most important person in your life."

"Yeah."
