After he said that, I bursted into tears because now things are starting to make sense.
Weeks after that night, I've been craving weird things but couldn't seem to hold them down. I'd get nauseous whenever Lea came over and made my favorite food. I could no longer stand the scent of my favorite perfume.
I also noticed that I've been getting a lil pudge and my face been getting a lil fatter.
And I'm just now realizing that I haven't gotten my period. Why the fuck am I just now realizing this? All the signs were there. I guess this is what I get for trying to be a hot girl for one night huh?
I don't regret it though, I might be young and should be living my life while I can. But at least I got my shit together, I'm financially stable, my own boss about to open another tattoo studio also a brand ambassador/model and most important of all I know I have my family's full support.
" Look mamas, don't take offense to what I'm about to ask you. But I just want to be sure before I take on this responsibility, is the baby mine?" He asked me sincerely rubbing on my butt.
I didn't take what he asked me in offense because shit if I was in his position I would too. Females these days are so grimy, you don't know who to trust.
" It is, you're the first guy I've been intimate with, in 3 years. But we could do a DNA test, if that's what you want. I don't mind." I told him as he looked at me shocked.
" Nawh, I believe you. If you were lying, you wouldn't have brought up a DNA test or be as calm as you were when I asked you if it was mine. I believe you." He said pulling me into a hug causing me to tear up. God I'm so damn emotional.
" I'm suppose to go get my brother to go to the hospital in 30 minutes. Because earlier he called me and noticed that I was feeling well and was going to come get me but I told him that I'll come and get him so we can go together. " I said sitting up looking up at him to see him already looking at me waiting for me to continue.
" Can you come with us? Please?" I asked him pouting.
The reason why I asked him is because well...I want him to be there when I find out if I really am pregnant and how many weeks am I. I don't want him to miss out on anything.
" Tuck yo lip in and yeah I'll meet you there. Let's go out front because Alex should be here by now" he said tapping my chin and leg, signaling me to tuck my lip in and to get up. Which I did.
" Hold on, let me grab my stuff " I said going towards my desk grabbing my keys, phone and my purse before going towards the door with him right behind of me.
As I'm going towards the door to open, I got snatched back.
" Don't you ever touch a door handle whenever I'm around, do you understand me?" He asked me mugging me causing me to tear up and his facial soften.
" I'm sorryy" I said full blown crying cause why he looked at me like that?
" Damn, calm down mamas. I'm sorry, please stop crying " he said pulling me into a hug, rubbing my back up and down.
Okay now I know for a fact that I'm pregnant because I've never been this emotional.
" I've never been this emotional, I hate it" I said after I calmed down, wiping my eyes.
" Come on, let's go to the front" he said opening door leaving me walk out first before walking out behind me.
After locking up, we headed towards the front where everyone were.
" About time yo ass came to the front, I've been waiting for 10 minutes " Alex said out loud, rolling her eyes causing everyone to look towards us.
" Bruh, Shut the fuck up. I was handling something not that it concerns you" Sincere said wrapping his arms around my waist causing me to blush.
" Oop" Chris said while Alex looked at me with wide eyes.
" Unt unt, get y'all minds out the gutter. Alex I'll explain what's going on just not right now but let's go." I said grabbing his hand pulling him towards the exit.
He opened it letting me out before him and Alex followed behind me.
" Alright, I'm gonna go drop off Alex, give me yo number so that I can call you on my way to the hospital " He said handing me his phone, walking me towards my car.
" Alright, here you go" I said giving him back his phone after putting my number in.
" Drive safe, Aiight?" He said pulling me into a hug.
" I will, you too okay? See you in a few" i said going into my car after he opened my door. Making sure that i was all the way in, he closed it before tapping my window and walking towards his car.
God really took his time with that man. A walking orgasm, Goddamn.
After starting my car, i got myself together before pulling off heading towards my brother's house.
I called him halfway there letting him know that i was on my way and for him to get ready.
15 minutes later
I pulled up to my brother's house, putting my car in park. I sent him a text letting him know that I was out front.
I hop over into the passenger seat because everytime I'm around my brother and we're going somewhere, he doesn't let me drive.
Apparently, I drive like a bat outta hell.
As I was going honk the horn, he came out. After locking up, he jogged towards my car then getting in.
" I'm glad you know to get yo ass in the passenger seat. " he said chuckling before pulling out his driveway.
" Wow, is this who we are? Is this what we've become? No hi princess, I've missed you. Nothing?" I said scoffing before crossing my arms looking out the window.
" Girl, stop being so damn dramatic. I just talked to yo ass hours ago" he said pulling up to a red light before looking at me like I've lost my mind.
" If you don't love me nomo, just say that" I said pouting making him mush my head chuckling before driving off.
" You sound so stupid, on a serious note though. Why didn't you say anything when you first started feeling like this?" He said seriously.
" Honestly, I don't know. But I do need to talk to you about something before we get there" I said nervously fidgeting with my fingers.
I don't know if you guys noticed but my brother and I are super close, that's literally my bestfriend. He goes out of his way to make sure I'm straight, him and my daddy. I could always count on them.
They've never really been invested in my love life, as long as I'm happy they're happy.
Even though, I know that they're not gonna judge me. I'm still kinda nervous.
" Alright, talk to me. Wassup? " he asked me pulling into the hospital looking for a parking spot.
" Look, I'm not about to beat around the bush but the night of your club opening, I- I had a one night stand and I think I might be pregnant " I said softly, tearing up a lil bit because I feel like I've disappointed him.
I was met by silence.
