Ever since the Listserve was created, it had become the new normal. I don't know how, I don't know why.

---

I was actually the first to send a message to the world once it had become public. Me being cliche, and down in the dumps that day, I only wrote an 'i love you'.

Yeah, I'm still single. That's fine though. Haha.

I had received a message everyday since then except yesterday.

They were all different in their own way. Many had sent memes that 'only my generation would understand'. Others had sent confessions of different sorts, and as senders are anonymous to most, the police have been fighting to have access to the sender system since.

Someone sent a message in Japanese, but the Listserve had an automatic translation device built into it.

You always learn something with these, about who you are, about other people, about society as a whole.

I'm waiting for my message for today. I hope it actually comes.

ding!

I refreshed my emails, and was greeted with a message I had only received once.

"Hi, joyk1ss101! You have been randomly selected to send a message to the entire world by Listserve!" Again?

Is that possible?

Welp. That happened.

I don't know what to send. Nothing's on my mind.

Nothing interesting anyways.

Hey, why don't I promote my writing!

I bring my fingers to the keyboard, and begin to type.

Hello world! I'm Joykiss, and I'm writing right now. Aha.

Fun fact, I am actually the person who sent the first message on this service! Yes, the 'i love you'! That was me!

Anyways, I'm here to promote my Wattpad account! It's @joyk1ss101! I typically write short story and the occasional novella. Still working my way up to novel! If you'd like to see my works grow in quality and number, feel free to follow me! Thanks for reading, and good luck on hopefully becoming tomorrow's sender! - Joykiss101

I press send without a glance, then closed the tab. The wind from the window is blowing leaves into my room. I go and close the window, before catching my eye on something bright outside.

...Why's the police here?

---

only a small percentage of people who read my stories actually follow me, so if you could, please follow my account! it's easy, and worst case scenario- police at your door
