Or, 'Green discovers that it is always possible to learn new things'.

----------------

Why must I be good at everything, Green thought. The gang was back at the desktop, and everyone was doing their own thing. Orange was rebuilding the house, Yellow was on his laptop, Red was making a farm and Blue was tending to his plants.

It gets boring, winning everything. But I can't seem to stop.

They gazed down from the pillar they sat atop, down to Blue throwing bone meal at the ground. Shoots popped up, and a light flickered in Green's mind.

Why not try something simple today. Besides, Blue might want a buddy to talk to.

They climbed down the cobblestone pillar, jumping the last few blocks onto the dirt blocks beneath.

"Green, get off the dirt and onto the path! You're gonna ruin the plants!"

"Shi-" "And watch your mouth. Jeez, dude you gotta stop dropping these swears."

"Sorry," Green said and hopped onto the cobblestone path gridding the area. Blue rushed over immediately, arching towards the patch of dirt where Green had landed.

"See, the dirt's been untilled! I have to hoe it again." Blue sighed and grabbed out a diamond hoe.

"Sorry, Blue. I was actually wondering if, uh- if I could help you out? I swear I won't mess everything up."

The sound of dirt being moved around responded.

"Blue?" "Yeah? Sorry, I'm just- thinking. You really wanna help me out?" "Yee." "And you swear you won't mess it all up?" "Uhhhhhh actually, I might need to learn... yknow- all the tips and tricks." Blue turned their head with a grin on their face.

"Can do. This'll be fun," Blue says before leading Green to a clear patch of dirt.

"Now, I just placed this down before you ruined my dirt," Blue said. "I'm gonna teach you how to till the dirt so it's able to grow food." "Isn't that what you did earlier?" "Duh. I call it 'hoeing' because that's y'know, the name of the tool. You probably have one in your inventory." Green pulled up his inventory and searched the slots for a hoe. He found a iron one and pulled it out.

"Iron will do, I guess," Blue says, and places a dirt block down in front of him.

"Okay, so you're going to want to smoothen out the dirt first," they continue, and demonstrates the action as they spoke. Green tried his best to replicate the action, but it wasn't really working.

"How- how the heck do you hold these so comfortably?"

"You can't. They're pretty uncomfy for me too, but you get used to it." "I am never gonna get used to this."

-----time skip-----

"Why's Green on the floor, kinda dead?" Orange asked.

"They're resting. They've done well." "Done well? And you're surprised? I thought Green was really good with plants."

"We all thought that. There are things they can't do, thank netherwart. I was thinking they'd become a Mary Sue or something." Blue replied, looking down at the green stickfigure. A smile was planted below their tired eyes, while shoots began to grow in the dirt patch beside them.

Wait- shoots!

"Green, wake up!"

"Let me sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep..." they droned, throwing his arms over his eyes.

"The carrots are growing, Green!" "WAIT WHAT?!" Green shot up with a flash and turned towards the green shoots. Orange stifled a giggle.

I have never seen Green be so happy something grew.

Green felt amazing. They had finally been able to learn how to push through the few and far along struggles they never knew about.

It was an odd feeling. Green realized that this was just the beginning, and he could soon learn more.

It's not about what I can do.

It's if I have the ability to learn new things.

A discovery I have made, and one I am proud of.

"I'm teaching you how to make potions tomorrow, Green. Make sure you have the netherwart."

Orange doubled over in laughter. Green didn't know why.

And to tell the truth, I don't either. The feeling is mutual, Green.
