Q1. How did you come up with the title for your book?

A1. I actually don't remember LOL— I think it was the first thing that came to mind and I stuck with it.

Q2. What was your hardest scene to write, and why?

A2. anything that included relationships. I have learned that I'm wayyy better writing angst scenes than where the main characters have to make out (PS: that's for sure hard to write....i have never experienced it but... i can feel it)🤣

Q3. How would you describe your book's ideal reader?

A3. someone who thinks outside of the box but not TOO outside. if you over think it my story won't make sense LOL. nothing is too hard too understand when I write

Q4. What part of the book was the most fun to write?

A4. probably the stabby stabby scene (oops spoiler) I wanted people to guess who it was and the comments that came from the part made me cry out of laughter(PS: we love spoilers...don't we?)😏

Q5. What is a significant way your book has changed since the first draft?

A5. uhhh... the ending LOL!! I've said multiple times that the way I first thought how I was gonna end it took a TWIST the fact that yoonchul was her dad wasn't even planned at first she was just like... an idea that came after watching him be Rona's dad lol (PS: that was indeed interesting!)😍

Q6. Which of the characters do you relate to the most and why?

A6. probably jaehwa. jaehwa's personality is definitely brought out from some aspects in my life and what I have gone through (silently not like penthouse at all) but we definitely relate a lot.

Q7. How many books have you written and which is your favorite?

A7. I've written nine books (and three sitting in the drafts lol). under control/out of control are definitely my favorite, followed by "friends <3" (you should read it) both are very fun to write and to think "how can I fool my readers into thinking something else?"

Q8. What perspectives or beliefs have you challenged with this work?

A8. nothing I know of... my perspective of relationships have sorta changed. I had to believe that jaehwa was in the wrong during some of the scenes I'm writing (and thinking of) and usually main characters aren't views as bad, and jaehwa definitely had a personality change in season two LOL(PS: and we love that personality change!)❤

Q9. How do you process and deal with negative book reviews?

A9. I haven't really gotten one— but usually I would ignore it. if someone tells me I've done something wrong then I'd obviously fix the mistake— rather negative there's some comments that make me uncomfortable and I'll publish either a chapter of a small part at the end of the next chapter to make sure how I'm feeling is OUT

Q10. What advice would you give to a writer working on their first book?

A10. just belt man. don't think about reads or votes. if you think about that it will discourage you and you wouldn't want to write as much. write as if you're writing to read something you want to read. that's what I do. I write what I want to read. never be afraid to publish something, even if it doesn't do good so what? it's your own story that you like and that you will continue to write because you believe you are good enough <3
