Angela sat on her couch with a cigarette in between her fingers, and looking forward at the T.V watching re-runs of Breaking Bad. Her mind was blank, her stomach was empty, and her eyes were drained since she cried all day. She refused to eat since she didn't feel like it today, but what she did have was Yorkshire Tea. Her favorite.

Knock, knock, knock "Angela." Knock, knock, knock, "Angela." Knock, knock, knock, "Angela."

Angela got up softly, "Just a minute, please." She did her normal routine of making her apartment smell better than smoke and hid her pack of cigarettes in her room and finished her cig and put it in the hidden ash tray in her room. She sighed disappointingly at herself, and opened the door of her apartment, seeing Sheldon looking a bit tired, "Hello."

"Hi," Angela said.

Sheldon hugged Angela where she was, and held her tight since he needed this...and so did Angela.

Angela hugged him back, and hid her face in the crook of his neck. They stood there like that for three minutes, until some guy passed by and said, "Get a room!"

With that said, Sheldon let go and Angela let him in into her apartment.

"Not to be rude, but why did you hug me?" Angela asked, sitting back on her couch.

"We both had a bad day at Caltech, and I thought we both needed a hug." Sheldon answered, sitting in his spot on the couch.

Angela turned off the T.V and sat crosslegged facing Sheldon, "What happened?"

"Well, you're fath---"

"I know that, Sheldon," Angela mumbled. "I meant what happened to your day."

"Oh, my apologies. I didn't mean to upset you."

Angela half smiled, "It's OK, Sheldon, now go on about your day."

Sheldon sighed, "Well, I spoke with President Seibert. We both had an argument."

"About what?"

"He wants us to work late. To make our work better." Sheldon said.

Angela groaned, "That's not fair! We've been working harder than ever! Does he not see that?"

"To top it all off, next Friday he wants us to go to a party."

"I can't." Angela said.

"Why not?"

"My father's funeral is next Friday," Angela explained. "I want you to come with me too...now that we have some sort of party to attend, I won't let you go by yourself."

"That's nice of you. But, President Seibert will lower our pay."

"But it's a funeral. It's an emergency." Angela said.

"It's your father's funeral, not my father's funeral. I'm just going to have to go by myself."

Angela sighed, "What if I talked to Seibert about it? Let him know that we're both going to a funeral."

"It won't work. I called his brain a size of a peanut this afternoon, and he said he could fire me anytime he wanted. He's probably really angry."

Angela chuckled at the "size of a peanut" insult, "He's probably furious. But, I'll talk to him. I won't let you go to a boring party."

"Thank you, Angela. But just to let you know, I won't be surprised if he doesn't let me go with you."

"Don't worry about it, he's just a jerk."

Angela took a sip of her tea. Sheldon looked at her, and asked, "How are you feeling?"

Angela shrugged, "I don't know. Guilty, angry, annoyed? I feel like I ran out of time."
