After taking your birth control, you walk over to the couch, where Garcello was watching Survivor, and you sit next to him. You lay your head on his shoulder and he kisses your forehead. "You're so cute, my love" he says as his eyes are glued to the screen. "Awww, you're too kind, you're cute too" you respond, putting your hand on top of his, which was resting on his thigh. You two watch for half an hour until you get another text. You pick up your phone and groan in frustration
MESSAGE FROM: Father
"You're dating that hag? Oh I'm so done with you, Y/N, you're such a disappointment to our family"
Garcello reads the message and growls. "That bitch is so annoying, oh my god" He asks if he can message your father back, to which you say yes, and he starts typing. After a minute or so he sends the message.
"You've abused Y/N for their entire life, you really think you can take them back? You're wrong. You'll never lay a hand on them again, you prick. I'll protect them from you if it's the last thing I do. -Garcello"
"Thank you so much, honey" you mumble as you kiss him. He ruffles your hair and responds. "You're welcome, love, and it's true, I'll protect you from that bastard even if it's the last thing I do" You giggle and kiss him again, ruffling his fluffy, cyan hair. You knew that you were safe with him, and that's all that mattered
