Soloist Alyssa Castillo will be taking a break from activities due to health concerns.
Earlier on today, JYP Entertainment announced that Alyssa will be halting all upcoming activities for the next nine months due to health reasons, however, it wasn't specified exactly what health condition Alyssa is suffering with.
JYP Entertainment's full English statement is as follows:
❝ Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
We would like to inform you about soloist Alyssa's current health situation.
Last night, we received a message from Alyssa in which she stated that she had been feeling ill for the past few days and provided evidence that she visited the doctor who adviced her to relax for the next few months or so.
At JYP Entertainment, The idol's mental and physical health is always our first priority, which is why we have granted Alyssa leave. She will be on haitus for approximately 9 months as that is the estimated time period that will be taken for her to recover.
We will not reveal anything regarding her health in accordance with the idol's wishes because it is not our place to do so. Alyssa will disclose more information when the moment is appropriate and when she feels comfortable doing so.
Alyssa was set to release her new album next week,LILACbut owing to the unexpected news, it has been postponed until further notice.
In the meantime, please continue to stream her previous music videos and listen to her old albums.
