Am I Safe Here Anymore?

Alexis's POV

I was awoken by a pain in my head. I seemed to not be in the bag anymore, but I still had no abilities of vision. I could feel myself being carried around by this unknown being. Their breaths were rough, but oddly soft and soothing. I felt myself be put down on to a cold surface and then small whispers leading after. I tried to speak, but oddly I was not able to. I felt a cold hand lay against my forehead and quickly pull away with a deep breath. "She's burning up.." I recognized the voice, it was Dr. Smiley. "Will she be alright?" The next voice sounded like Slendy. "I believe so, but you must, no matter what it takes, keep her safe at all costs," Dr. Smiley spoke with seriousness dripping through his tone. What is he talking about?.. The person who tried to take me?.. "I shall try my best, child." "Okay, and remember, sir, she must not know about her being endangered. She would have a high chance of stressing out if she ever knows this. Soon, her powers would overcome her body. Once that happens, there is a 99% chance that she will not be able to control it. She will cause damage throughout the area. I myself am not aware of the abilities she is capable of sir, I would have no way to control her. Also, she may be lead to the-" "Yes, yes, I understand. How long until she wakes up now?" Slendy asked impatiently. God dammit, why wouldn't you let him finish what he was saying?! "She should be awake now," I heard footsteps click around for a brief moment then felt a small tap against my cheek. I heard more small whispers until Dr. Smiley spoke once more. "Are you awake, dear?" He asked in a calming voice. I tried my best to act like I had just woken up by giving a small stretch, but I am a horrible actor in these situations.. I felt the material of cloth against my skin as my vision began to come back. I guess there was just something wrapped around where I had hit my head or something. My eyes immidiately focused onto a white ceiling, but it was all still quite blurry. "Ah, yes. Are you feeling alright? Are there any aches or pains throughout your body at the moment? Symptoms of sicknesses?" He asked. I could hear the worriness in his voice now, but he was trying to hide it. I sat up and lightly rubbed my eyes. I glanced up to meet eye contact with Dr. Smiley, Slendy must have teleported away since I had no sight of him. I noticed that I was in the infermory room. "I'm okay, I just have a pain in my head at the moment," I said. hopefully I didn't sound suspicious of anything. "Oh, one moment," He walked over to a small shelf and opened a crate which he then pulled out a small ice pack, came back, and handed it to me with a weak smile. "Keep this on your head, it will help ease the irritation," He instructed. "Thank you." "So, Alexis, do you have any memory of what had happened before you had gone unconcious?" He asked. Should I tell him what had happened? What if he begins to freak out? What do I do? "Oh, uh.. I-I don't know, all I remember is that I was going to bed and then I had blacked out. I think I might have overworked myself a bit with that assignment I had done," I held the icepack tighter now. Is this the right thing to do? He seemed to be relieved by how his shoulders loosened. "Okay, well you are able to go now. I just wish for you to stay hydrated and to be very careful next time." "I will, thank you very much," I said as I stood up and began to the door. "Thank Zalgo.. This could have gone horribly.." I stopped to hear Dr. Smiley whisper for a moment. He cleared his throat. "Is there something wrong, Alexis?" He asked concerned. "Oh, no. I was just.. Going to ask where.. E-EJ was," I stumpled with my thoughts. "I believe that Jack is in his room, dear," He informed confused like. "Okay, thanks," I rushed out of the room and into the living room. You know? Maybe I was onto something throughout my thoughts. I should go ask EJ some questions about myself and who might be a danger to me I guess. Seems like a good idea. I walked down the hall and up to EJ's door. I knocked a few times until I heard stumbling through the other side. The door swung open to reveal EJ. He didn't have his mask on which showed off his dark grey skin which was surrounded by his messy brown hair, along with his empty eye sockets of course. It's pretty casual to me now actually. He was eating a kidney when he began to speak. "What's up Lex?" He said munching on his food. "I was just wondering if I could talk to you for a moment. I need to ask a few questions," I said stepping into his room. "Oh, alright. What do you need to ask me?" He sat on his bed, patting next to him for me to sit as well, which I did. "I was just wondering, do you know anything about my abilities and powers that no one else knows?" I asked, kicking my feet which were dangling off the edge of the bed. "Well, the only things that I know about them are that if they are not kept stable, that they have a very high chance of going haywire. I don't know what happens when they do, but I know that it's very dangerous," He explained. "Why did you ask?" He tilted his head. "Oh, no reason. It was just some random thoughts of mine running through my head," I gave an awkward laugh with a small smile. "Well.. Alright then. I have to go on a spree now or else I'm going to probably get into a hell lot of trouble," He said smiling. "Alright, I'm going for a walk. Have fun," I walked out and down the hall up to Toby and I's room. I walked in to see Toby sitting on the floor. "Why hello there," I laughed. His head immediately shot up as he stood and ran over to me. "Oh my Zalgo, a-are you okay?! W-Where were you?! Slendy wouldn't tell me what h-happened to you, he only told me that you were knocked out and I have been f-freaking out ever since!" He stumbled his words as he tackled me in hugs. I stifled out a laugh as I hugged back and kissed his cheek. "I'm okay. I.. Just hit my head on something most likely. I don't really know. I just remember blacking out." Ugh.. I hate lying to him, I just feel so guilty about it.. I just need to figure out who this person was.. "Hey I'm going to go for a walk okay? I'm stealing your black hoodie," I said picking up his giant hooded sweatshirt. "Alright, do you want me to go with you or would you just like to go alone?" He gave me another tight hug. "I think I just want to go alone this time if that's okay with you. I just need to think for a little while. I'll be back later," I slipped on the hoodie and pecked his lips as I walked out of the room. I made my way downstairs. I walked down the hallway when I heard someone faintly whispering something. It sounded like it was in the kitchen so I quietly snuck over to the door. I creaked open the door just enough to be able to fully hear the voice speak. "What are we going to do? I just saw him outside, sir! This is not good at all!" I believe that it was Dr. Smiley again. "All we are going to be able to do is keep her from going out now. We must try to keep her anonymous from him as best as we can possibly do," I heard Slendy say. Who are they talking about?! That is all I am wanting to know! I can't just barge in and ask them so.. What am I supposed to do? "I shall ask to speak with her and bring her down to my office to explain to that she must not leave here, but not now," Slendy said, you could hear the seriousness in his voice. I can't just say here while I am in danger! What if others become in danger also? I can't put them through that. I then decided what I was going to do. I silently walked away from the area as I walked towards the front door, grabbing the flashlight on the window sill just incase. I quietly stepped outside and began my search. I was determined to find this being. I began my search near an abandoned house. Nothing. Pond? Nothing. Graveyard? Nope. Soon I had searched in every place I could think of. You know? Maybe this is just all a prank. Yeah, haha, real funny.. I finally just came to a conclusion that they were all just pulling on my leg. I started my walk back and flicked my flashlight on since it was becoming dark out once again. I was walking for a good 20 minutes when I heard a few crunching of leaves. I stopped in my tracks and just stood there, frozen. "Smiledog? Rake? Is that you?" I called out. I didn't hear any more noises after that. Maybe it was just my imagination. I shouldn't let my anxiety get the best of me. I already know that they are pulling a prank on me, so there is no reason to worry. It's all in your head. I flashed around my light, but all I saw was an abyss of darkness in the distance surrounded by trees. I finally began walking again, but there was just something that felt unsafe about this.. My heart began to race as I soon found myself running. Cut the shit out Alexis! You are okay! Stop running, it's all your imagination! There was no way I could figure out to calm myself. I just needed to get out of there. I ran for about another 35 minutes when I finally brought myself over to a tree to take a break from running. I caught a few breaths and sat on the ground. I was in an open area so I decided to star gaze, this always helps calm me down. I started looking over the constellations when I began to grow tired. I literally just woke up after who knows how long of being out, so I don't quite understand that. Later into the night, it began to grow a bit foggy. I began nodding in and out of falling asleep when I saw this luminescent figure among the fog and darkness. I figured that it was probably one of the Creepypastas trying to bring me back to the mansion and then I would have to get lectured by Mr. Slim Jim so I just decided to lay there. The figure grew much closer over a matter of probably 5 minutes. I finally noticed that their figure was not even close to equal to anyone I knew at the mansion. He looked to be well built, a bit tall compared to an average human, but he also had from what it looked to be horns along his shoulders and head. I slowly sat up as my adrenalin began to rush. "Wh-Who are you?" I forced out my words. It was very hard to move and speak. They stopped in their footsteps as I heard a small sigh. I felt a force against my body which was pushing me downward. I didn't know what was happening. I glanced down when I saw a large portal beneath me. I was immediately pulled into the darkness and my vision went out. All I could think was, "God dammit, this shit again?!"

Hello my babehs! First off, I want to apologize for not updating this story lately. I have been very busy with things and other stuff lately so I just wanted to say I'm sorry. Secondly, I just would like to thank you all for sticking through with me in this story, it means so much nore then you think. Thirdly, (Dat a word??) I have been running out of ideas lately for my stories and I was wondering if you guys could give me a few ideas. I will pick the one i believe is the most interesting, but I will make sure to add the other ideas (if any given) you guys have for me in either this story or my other one Newly Discovered. Lastly, would you guys enjoy it if I created a Q & A? I would most likely make it on a separate story thing (whatever it's called lol) and I can begin there. If yoy guys woukd like that, please comment. Well, I'll shut up now lol.
