The week had gone by at an acceptable pace as it was now Friday evening and Donghyuck was over at Renjun's house to pick out an outfit for the older's date tomorrow afternoon.
"Perfect!" Donghyuck cheered, pulling out a black turtle neck and black ripped jeans from Renjun's closet. "Now all I need is to snatch Jaemin to do your makeup tomorrow."
Renjun giggled at his best friend. He was glad the younger was starting to feel at least a bit, not much, better. The older was proud of Donghyuck for keeping his self control each time he'd see Mark. Renjun could see the hurt in the younger's eyes each time he saw the said older male. And each time that made Renjun want to hurt somebody, specifically Mark.
But of course he wouldn't do that. He may be angry, but he wouldn't want to hurt the older again. One time was enough to send his message through his brain. But if he hurt the younger again, which he won't let that happen, he would not hesitate to beat him to a pulp. He may be slightly shorter, but he knows how to use that to his advantage.
"Thanks Channie!" Renjun greeted giving him a nudge on the shoulder.
"Of course. You're going to look amazing," Donghyuck nodded while speaking and Renjun giggled again. "Are you nervous?"
"Not really," Renjun responded while Donghyuck stared at him with a 'really?' look.
"Your bouncing leg says otherwise," Donghyuck said in a matter of fact, sitting himself next to Renjun on the older's bed.
"Well of course I'm nervous! How could I not be?" Renjun said in panic.
It was the first time he's ever allowed someone to ask him out on a date, if that's what someone would call it, I love you you rejecting them. He's never had people do this before, never had a boyfriend and Donghyuck always wondered why, but as long as his best friend was happy he's happy. He's glad that he is finally taking a chance with someone, a guy as stunning as Jeno at that.
"You'll be just fine, Junnie. It seems like he rest likes you a lot," Donghyuck told him with a warm smile, pulling the older into a tight hug.
And before they both knew it, the day had gone by and it was now time to get ready for Renjun's date to which the older really enjoyed spending time with with younger. Jeno had taken him on a bike ride in the park. Even though Renjun was getting tired of pedaling his bicycle, a smile never left his face as he and Jeno laughed and spoke with each other the whole time.
At one point, the older returned the borrowed bike and hopped onto the back of Jeno's, the younger moving them through the park as the pink pedals of the cherry blossom trees landed on Renjun's soft two toned hair while clutching the younger's hips, closing his eyes to take in the cool breeze.

It was boring.
Donghyuck hasn't bothered or spoke with Mark for an entire week and the older didn't know how to feel about that. On the one hand, he was glad that he didn't have to worry about that little brat bothering him or speaking with him again.
But then on the other hand, he was annoyed at how the younger was ignoring him now. He didn't want Donghyuck to strictly ignore him. He just didn't want Donghyuck to bother him so much.
As much as Mark would never admit it, he was missing the younger very much. Of course he'd never say it out loud though. He already thinks he's crazy for even thinking that in his mind.
'You don't miss him, shut up. You don't like him.' Mark kept reminding himself.
"Markie," Yejun tugged on his older brothers shoulder, causing Mark to look down at him. "Yeah?"
"Woo and San over there! Can I play?" Yejun shyly asked, pointing over to the too little boys playing in the sandbox at the park.
Mark had taken Yejun out since the weather was nice. It wasn't too cold but it was chilly. The older never really had anytime to do that, since he'd always have to be at home and look after everything. But now that he's been staying at his grandparents for the week, everything was becoming slightly relieving.
"Yeah, but be careful. I'll sit right here and I'll call you back here to go home in a half hour. Okay?" Mark told him to which the younger nodded in excitement, letting go of the older's sleeve and running over to his friends who noticed his appearance and tackled him with hugs.
Mark smiled at the mini reunion. He was happy that Yejun found a few people he could be around. When Mark had gotten home from school last Monday, Yejun was telling him and his grandma all about San and Wooyoung and how they approached him, wanting to be his friend. Words couldn't even begin to say how proud and happy he was for the little boy.
At least he has someone.
