As Mark strolled down the streets, rain began to drizzle. Clouds swarmed and covered the bright blue sky, now dark and gray. His mind was still processing the heated argument he was having with his grandfather earlier.

"You out of all people should understand, but you don't. You don't understand anything about me. You're just like everyone else!" Mark hollered.

"At least I know how to control myself," his grandfather argued.

It was true. He was way better at learning how to calm himself and control his misophonia when he was Mark's age. He had also been diagnosed with it as well at a young age and it skipped a generation and went passed down to Mark.

"Instead of criticizing me, why don't you try helping me for once?!" Mark suggested in anger. "Actually, I don't want your help. It's not like you cared about me in the first place."

"If your mother hadn't been born, I would have been happy with the person I loved," his grandfather dared to bring up.

"Oh please cut the crap," Mark scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"And then you wouldn't have been born either! Everything was a mess ever since you came into our lives," his grandpa confessed.

"You think I asked to be here? I never asked to be born! I never asked to have a disorder! I never asked for any of this!" Mark yelled in anger, the patients in the other room were probably disturbed with all the ruckus.

"You're just jealous that you weren't given a choice. You're jealous because I get to be with someone that makes me happy without anything stopping me. And I'm letting you know right now, you're certainly not going to stop me." Mark made clear while Yejun began to cry, which angered Mark even more.

He tried his best not to let the sounds of his little brother's cry get to him. And it seemed like luck was on his side since his grandmother came back into the room, picking the little boy up.

With the same words repeating in his mind, he continued walking home. School was already over by now and Mark could see the students walk home in their uniforms with their school bags.

Mark didn't end up at his grandparents house. He somehow ended up in front of a certain tanned male's door, raising his hand to knock on it gently.

How did Mark know when he lived? The answer was quite simple. One day he just followed the boy around and figured out which door he went through. He didn't want to accidentally knock on Renjun's door. He already knows how bad the older wants to beat him up so he'd rather stay away from him.

He finally knocked on the door and it opened with Donghyuck behind it, holding a child in his arms. Donghyuck's face was shocked. He didn't expect Mark to be in front of his house, soaked.

"Oh my gosh. Get inside right now!" Donghyuck demanded in a worry tone, opening the door wider for the older to step in.

Without any protests, Mark did so. Removing his sneakers as he was met with two adults.

"Mom, dad. This is Mark. Is it okay if he stays over for a while?" Donghyuck asked his parents with hopeful eyes.

They nodded their head and Donghyuck handed Hojoon to his mother.

"I'll play with you in a little bit. Be good, Hojoon," Donghyuck kissed the baby's cheek before guiding Mark to his room.

He shut the door behind him and went to find the biggest clothes he could for Mark to change into. He found an old orange hoodie and black sweatpants, handing it to the older.

"You can use my bathroom," Donghyuck pointed to the door in his room.

Mark thanked the boy and walked into the bathroom to change while Donghyuck sat on his bed. Soon Mark came out with his wet clothes in his hands, which Donghyuck took to go wash and dry. He back came up and told the older to sit down.

"I don't know why I'm here. I was supposed to be on my way home, but I ended up here instead," Mark honestly spoke, his eyes welling with tears.

"You're welcome anytime. Is everything okay?" Donghyuck asked him gently, rubbing the older's thigh.

"Nothing it's just my grandpa. We always have our blow outs," Mark told him and the younger nodded.

"I'm sure he loves you. He just has a hard to finding a way to express it," Donghyuck assured the older to which Mark scoffed.

"Yeah, sure." Mark doubted.

"I'm serious, Mark. You aren't very good at expressing yourself either. Where do you think you got that from?" Donghyuck questioned.

The younger did have a point and Mark knew that, but he just didn't want to admit it out loud. Donghyuck kept reassuring Mark as they were now laid side by side on the bed.

"Is Hojoon your brother?" Mark asked him and Donghyuck smiled at the mentioned name.

"He is," Donghyuck answered proudly.

"I'm happy for you, Hyuck," Mark said and Donghyuck sat up abruptly at the name the older called him.

Only his close friends, mainly Renjun, called him that. They were the only ones he'd allow, but now Mark had just done it and he loved the way his nickname rolled so easily off of Mark's tongue.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," Mark sat up, covering his mouth with his hand.

But Donghyuck removed it. "Nonsense, call me that again."

Mark flashed a confused look but did as the younger told him to do without any hesitation. Donghyuck's smile grew wider.

"I like it when you call me, 'Hyuck'. Do it more often," Donghyuck said with a bashful smile and Mark smirked slightly.

"Yeah? Well I'd like you to call me yours so that I can call you mine," Mark slyly said which caused Donghyuck to flush red and look away.

Mark giggled at the boys reaction and pecked the younger's neck softly.

"You're so chessy," Donghyuck finally spoke, his voice cracking. He turned back to face the older, looking him in the eyes. "Yes I'll be yours."

Mark's eyes were tearing again. "Do you mean it? Are you sure? Even after everything I had done to you? Because I don't want to force you. You can say n-"

Donghyuck shut the older up by smashing his lips against Mark's, which caught the older by surprise but kissed back immediately. The kiss was slow and sweet and only lasted for a few seconds before Donghyuck was the one to break the kiss.

"Does that help with my answer?" Donghyuck asked.

"I don't know I think I need to make sure," Mark answered, staring deeply into the younger's eyes before slowly tugging the boys head back to kiss him gently.
