After a few hours of staying with Renjun and helping him with his lab report, Donghyuck finally went back home. It was time for dinner so he gave himself a quick wash up before settling down at the table.

Finishing his food, Donghyuck still had a couple questions that lingered in his mind the more he thought about the situation.

"Donghyuck sweetie, what's on your mind?" His pregnant mother asked him, who was seated on the other side of the table.

The said boy just gave her a small smile and shook his head no while standing up to out his dishes in the sink.

Mark was pissed. How could Donghyuck ignore him and make him look like a fool in front of the entire cafeteria? What is his problem?

He just wanted to talk to him and he maybe thought that the golden boy had a snack for him today.

Okay maybe he just wanted to talk to him because he misses his company.

He misses him.

'Fuck.'

It's been several days later and nothing has changed, expect for the fact that Donghyuck is becoming more and more distant with not only him, but his group of friends too. This is making the older question what is happening and he's even itching to walk up to the said boy's friends to find out.

And that's what he did.

After finishing his lunch, he made his way over to Donghyuck's table, only Donghyuck wasn't there but his friends were which were the ones Mark wanted to speak with at the moment.

"Hello person who broke my friend's heart," a boy seated next to Jisung who he remembered was named Chenle dramatically said.

That greeting made everyone's head turn to face him and the older felt a bit guilty about what happened.

"Hi, where's Donghyuck?" The older asked, scratching the back of his head.

"Why would we tell you?" Renjun snapped, which made Mark remember the punch he received from the small two toned haired boy.

"I want to talk to him," Mark answered.

In all honesty, Mark didn't know why he wanted to see Donghyuck.

Heck, he doesn't even know why he's bothering the tanned male's friends. He doesn't even like the young male like that, he just...feels bad?

"That's not happening so you can take yourself and leave," Renjun scowled and Jeno placed a hand on the smaller's thigh.

"Come on, I just want to see him," Mark pleaded and Renjun shook his head.

"Why?"

"I already told you. I want to speak with him so tell me where he is," Mark started losing his patience.

"No, there's more to it. I want to know why," Renjun said.

The two tone haired boy wasn't stupid. He knows there had to be more to the older's reasoning as to why he wants to see his best friend.

But just because he may know it, doesn't mean Mark himself knows it...

"You're interrupting me right now. Hyuck is at the library," Jaemin interrupted and Renjun shot him a glare.

"Interrupting what? Your drooling session you're having over Lucas Wong?" Chenle smirked while wiggling his eyebrows

Jaemin his the smaller's arm as he blushed, Chenle being over dramatic and 'crying' into Jisung's chest which made the other roll his eyes.

"Thanks," Mark left their table, a sharp breath being released.

He quickly headed over to the library. There were still ten minutes of lunch left.

Standing outside the library doors, Mark pulled out a pack of pocky sticks that he knows Donghyuck likes since he's bought them for him before.

The older didn't even know why he bought that for him either. He didn't know the reasoning for anything he was doing today, he was just doing it to do it.

He stepped through the doors and looked around the library to find the younger, searching up and down the isles with book shelves almost ten feet tall.

He continued to look until he saw a body against the wall with their knee brought to their chest, reading a book.

It was Donghyuck.

Mark took a deep breath and walked over to the said boy. He stopped in from of him and dropped the pack of pocky sticks on the book, causing the younger to look up at him.

"I don't want it," Donghyuck sighed, picking the pack up and handing it back to Mark.

"They're for you so take it," Mark informed him, dropped the pack of food back down.

Donghyuck rolled his eyes and stood up, placing the book back onto the shelf and threw the pack of pocky sticks into the garbage can.

Mark isn't going to lie. It hurt when Donghyuck did that.

It hurt a lot actually.

'Is this how Donghyuck felt when I did that before?'
