You sighed out loud and ran a hand across your hair frustratedly, your eyes stuck on the stick.

You couldn't believe it. You were stuck in the washroom by yourself with a pregnancy test in front of your eyes while your fiancé was away.

"Oh my god." You whispered as you saw the test forming slowly into two lines which caused you to have your eyes blurry.

You sobbed and sobbed as you grabbed your shaky hand on the stick and brought it to your face even though you couldn't see.

Slowly, you grabbed your other hand and gently smoothed it on your stomach, making you slightly smile.

But you couldn't help but overthink your fiancé's reaction. Will he be mad or happy with you? We haven't even talked about having kids any time soon but I definitely wanted one but it just happened so unexpectedly.

You shook your head out of your thoughts as you stood up from the cold tiles. You took the stick and walked out of the room, wiping away the tears under your eyes.

Your hands on your head, you sat on your bed and overthought about your life and Travis' life.

So you grabbed a bag and took the stick in it as you ran downstairs and shut the front door, chasing away your most feared thoughts.

Running through the streets, you exhaled heavily and sat on the nearest bench next to the large tree.

Your hand over your stomach, you gently rubbed it and placed your elbow on the bench, taking a deep breath of the fresh air that you loved.

Then, something sparkly caught your attention as you looked at your ring finger, throwing a glimpse at the beautiful rock that Travis gave you for your twenty-first birthday.

You loved him so much that you gave him everything that you needed and he wanted.

You guys started dating when you were in high school and he was still in his hockey career. Your gap with Travis didn't really affect you guys that much and that's what you really loved the most.

Soon your thoughts were out when your phone started buzzing and ringing repeatedly but you didn't answer it.

You needed space and fresh air but you needed something else that you personally couldn't know.

You hated worrying about Travis every time and him too. But this time, you didn't.

Your mind was long gone that you zoned every second passing by just thinking a slight thing and that one was being pregnant.

You've always dreamed about having kids on your own as you grew older and older. But since you were busy with your job and your fiancé's, you hadn't thought about it until right now.

You weren't a fan of abortion, you hated it with the second of your life and just thinking about it made your skin crawl from toe to head until you wanted to scream and break someone's ears as long as you can.

You were pretty sure that Travis came home and was worried as you knew from him calling your phone every second, his name on your phone screen.

You let out a shaky breath and looked at the screen, thinking a bit to press 'accept' but just let it go as you dug the phone into your purse.

You clenched your eyes shut and heard voices in the back of your head repeatedly before fluttering up your eyes, the voices completely gone, sending you mild shivers travelling down your spine.

"Shit." You mumbled and looked up at the sky. You didn't realize that it was late for you to go home and you did. You were completely tired from ignoring your calls and especially the ones with your fiancé.

On your way to your house, you couldn't help but think about Travis. He's probably losing his mind and you felt so sad for him. You didn't mean to do it. You just needed air and space but your loved ones were also worrying where you were.

As you made it, you opened the front door and pursed your lips, quietly hanging your jacket and your purse.

"Y/N?" Someone immediately called out and rushed to me. He dropped his shoulders and let out a shaky breath. "What the hell? I was so worried. Where were you?" He rambled on and you walked towards him closer.

You needed a hug.

"I'm sorry, Travis." You whispered and wrapped your arms around his body, feeling deeply sorry.

Then, without a second, he wrapped his around yours and kissed your forehead with a passion.

"Where were you, baby?" He asked again this time sweetly and gently and you exhaled, shutting your eyes, smelling his favourite cologne on him. You slightly smiled and pulled away as he ran his hand across your face to your hair gently.

"I just needed a fresh air and space. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that." Apologizing about a million times, Travis still cared about me and once again wrapped his arms around you, this time tightly, letting you know that he loved you very much even though a small mistake you could do.

You adored him so much it was unbelievable and that's what you love about him.

"I'm pregnant." You blurted out and immediately felt your fiancé stop rubbing your back.

You bit your lower lip and pulled away, your hand reaching to your stomach to show him how much you really cared and how you were serious about this.

You watched Travis as he stood frozen, his eyes widened in shock until he showed you a slight smile that he was listening to you perfectly.

"Is that why you ran away?" He connected the dots and you nodded. You couldn't help but smile at the moment, you were finally pregnant.

Then, before you knew it, he quickly wrapped his arms around you and picked you up in excitement, making you squeal and laugh.

You held onto him for support so you wouldn't fall and hurt yourself. You grinned at him and then felt a slight churn in your stomach but you ignored it but Travis felt it and instantly placed you down.

"Oh my god, I'm gonna be a dad!" He exclaimed and you bit your lower lip, nodding your head in agreement.

"I know, baby." You said and rubbed his cheek. You guys were going to be parents. Happy parents. It just happened so quickly and you were never too happy about this, you both loved the baby and each other very much.

"I love you so much, Y/N." He whispered as he cupped your cheek and looked into your eyes sweetly.

You smiled. "I love you more, Travis." You said and kissed him before wrapping your arms around his neck tightly.

As you two hugged as long as you guys could, you said 'I love you's' about a million times more than Travis and you've never been so emotionally excited. Just then, we were a very happy couple with a baby on the way and our wedding also.

This just happens to be the best day ever.
