~Reggie's POV

I woke up late this morning, already late for school. I quickly threw on a black t-shirt, a red flannel and my leather jacket with a pair of black ripped jeans. I grabbed my bookbag and head out the door. I would have to walk to school since I didn't have a bike.

I finally get to school and it's in the middle of a class change so the halls are flooded with people. I try to fight my way through the seas of people to get to me class, but I keep getting joslted around.

I squeeze through a small space between the wall and a group of people.

I left in such a hurry this morning, I must have forgotten to tie my shoe. I trip and am about to face plant right on the floor when I feel my body being supported by two arms around my waist.

"Whoa, there you are." Luke said, helping me stand back up. "Where were you this morning?"

All of the sudden my tounge went numb and I got this weird feeling in my stomach. It felt like their were butterflies flying around in there. My hands felt clamy and my throat went dry. Why was I so anxious all of the sudden?

"Uh.... overslept." I finally said. For some reason I couldn't pull my eyes off of Luke. I stared I to his gorgeous hazel eyes.

"Okay well let's get to class." Alex said.

"Oh, yeah right. Let's go." I say. Alex chuckled and lightly shook his head. What was so funny? Did he know something I didn't?

We head down the now almost empty hallway to history.

~Luke's POV

Reggie wasn't here today during first period, and I thought maybe he could have just over slept but for some reason I was really worried about him. I knew he was probably fine and on his way to school now, but part of me needed to know for sure he was alright.

As me and Alex walk down the hallway to History, I ask him if he maybe seen Reggie. Maybe Reg skipped first period.

"Hey Alex have you seen Reggie?" I asked. "He didn't show up for first period, and I don't know why but I'm worried."

"I haven't seen him." Alex said. "But you know Reggie, he probably just overslept. He's fine."

"Yeah, okay." I said. "You're right. In fact I'm sure Reggie will be in history."

Just then, a body starts falling towards me. Realizing it was Reggie, I immediately catch him in my arms.

From this angel I was just now noticing how cute Reggie was, wait what? Did I just call Reggie cute? I stared down into his eyes that appreaed to be green right now. Sometimes they look more like a hazel color, other times the lighting makes them look blue. He was so adorable.

"Whoa, there you are." I said, helping back on balence. "Where were you this morning?"

Reggie stares at me blankly for a second, picking at his fingernails like he always does when he's anxious. What was wrong?

"Uhh...I overslept." He said. I studied his face, he wasn't lying so what was making him so nervous?

"Okay, well let's just get to class." Alex said.

"Oh, yeah right." Reggie said. "Let's go." Alex chuckled lightly and shook his head. What did I miss, what was he laughing at?

As the day dragged on, I found myself thinking of Reggie constantly. His stunning eyes, his gorgeous hair, his beautiful smile, his adorable laugh, everything about his was perfect.

Omygosh, I like Reggie!

~Reggie's POV

As we walked home from school that day, I found myself stealing glances at Luke's gorgeous eyes.

I also noticed he kept looking at me. Sometimes we looked at each other at the same time which resulted in uncomfortable eye contact and us smiling akwardly before looking away.

"Omygosh, are none of you gonna say it!?" Alex said.

"What are you talking about?" Luke asks, just as confused as I was.

"Omygosh." Alex said. "You like Reggie, and Reggie, you like Luke."

"What?" I say. "No, that crazy." I said. "We're just friends, right Luke?" There was no way Luke liked me, no way.

"Yeah, yeah just friends." Luke said.

"Yeah, uh-huh." Alex said. "You're lying to yourselves."

"He's right." Luke sighed.

"Wait what?" I said. "You... You like me?"

"Well don't look so surprised." Luke said. "You're super sweet, crazy funny, and really adorable. Your smile is insanely cute and I love your laugh. "

"You like me?" I ask again in shock.

"Yes, that's what I said." Luke said.

"I...I like you too." I said.

"For real?"

"Yes for real!" I said. "You're so cool, and awesome. And I love how passionate you get about music, and you're eyes are so gorgeous."

"See, I was right." Alex said. "Now, are you two gonna kiss or what?"

"Well..." I said looking at Luke. "I mean we can...if you want to. We don't have -"

I am inturupted by Luke pressing his lips against mine. I can taste his strawberry chapstick. He pulls away and I'm caught looking into his eyes.

"Wow." I say. "Your mouth tastes like strawberries." I say, smiling at him.

"Alright, no one asked for details." Alex said. "See you love birds later." He said walking up his drive way.

"Hey Luke?"

"Yeah Reg?"

"Can we do that kiss thing one more time?"

"Yeah." Luke smiled and once again our lips met.
