My Name is Luke

This is the song, My Name is Luke, that Luke wrote and what it means. I am not a song writer but I am writing these lyrics myself so please don't take them, thanks

Flashback- 1990 (so they're like 12)

Thrid person

A boy with brown hair raced down the school stairwell of the school, two boys chasing after him. They were older, bigger, stronger, and faster than the boy. They always picked on smaller and younger kids, and it didn't help that the boy just moved to the school and was the new kid.

He jumped down, skipping the last three steps and quickly turned the corner, bumping into someone.

"Wow, slow down." The kid said. He wore a sleeveless shirt and had shaggy brown hair.

"I uh... I'm sorry I didn't-"

"There's nowhere to hide new kid!" One of the boys shouted.

"Oh, I see. Come with me." The sleeveless shirted boy said, grabbing the new kids hand. He lead them down the hall and quickly opened the door to the janitor's closet and closed it quickly behind them. 

The two boys waiting in silence for a moment, and the sleeveless shirted boy sighed in relief after a few minutes. "Okay I think they're gone." He says.  "You're new here?"

The boy nodded.

"Sweet, what's your name?"

"Uh... Reggie." The boy said nervously.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Luke."

2021

"Hey, so what is My Name is Luke about?" Julie asks. "You never told me."

"Oh it's nothing." Luke say. "I wrote it when I was 13. It was some stupid project we had to do, write an essay about ourselves. I wrote a song instead. I never really followed any rules. I don't even know how Bobby found it and stole it, it's not even very good."

"Oh, okay." Julie says. "Well I gotta get to school. See you at band practice."

"Yeah, see ya." Luke says. "I actually gotta go...do something." He quickly poofs away before Julie can question him.

Julie heads for the door to leave for school when something out of the corner of her eye catches her attention: Luke's journal.

She heasitsted, it was his private journal and she wouldn't want him going through hers. Then again, she wouldn't have been stupid enough to leave it out.  She walked over to the piano and flipped through it until she saw a page titled "My Name is Luke". Curiosity got the better of her and she read through the song.

Middle of the school day
Head hanging low
Just waiting for the day to end

Then I met a new friend
Who changed my whole world
And all I did was tell him my name

He had green eyes, brown hair
I saw him and I lost all my air
He wore a leather jacket, and a scared face
And I knew he was just tryin' to get by

He was the new kid,
And I was the loner

We ran off together to
hide in a janitors closet
Stood there silence

And then I said, "My name is Luke."

After than it's history
He becomes my friend and became his

And all because I said,

Hey, hi, hello. My name is Luke. It's nice to meet you, I would like to be your best friend

Hey, hi, hello, my name is Luke, what's your name? Let's stick together till the end

Hey, hi, hello, it's your buddy Luke, I'm so glad we are best friends

Hey, hi, hello, did anyone tell you you are amazing today

Hey, hi, hello, I like it when you smile like that,

Hey, hi, hello, my name is Luke and I think I'm falling in love with my best friend

Hey, hi, hello, my name is Luke and I am in love with my best friend.

Julie was in shock after reading this. Luke likes, or at least liked, Reggie.

"Hey Jules, don't you have school?" Reggie asks poofing into the studio.

"Oh right yeah!" Julie says. "I gotta go." Julie left in such a hurry she forgot to close Luke's journal.

Reggie saw the opened journal and walked over to it to see what Julie was looking at. 

His eyes widened as he read through the song. He had a crush on Luke since the day they died.

Luke poofed back into the studio and saw Reggie reading his journal. "Reggie? What are you doing?" Luke asks.

"Uhh.... nothing." Reggie says quickly shutting it.

"O...Kay." Luke says.

"Actually no, um...I umm....I saw one of your songs.... My names Luke."

Luke's eye went wide and he felt his face flushed red with embrassment. "Umm...I uh-"

Reggie cut him off by kissing his lips. "I've had the biggest crush on you since the day we died." He says.

Luke is frozen in shocked for a moment, but he then puts his hands around Reggie's waist and kisses him.

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner so we couldn't have been together sooner." Luke says.

"But we're here now." Reggie says. "And we got the rest of our death."

"I love you, you little dork." Luke says pulling him into a hug so now their chests were pressed against each other.

"I love you too Lukey." Reggie says.

So I know the song is bad I'm not good at writting songs but I hope you enjoyed the rest of the story
