Shen Wei patted his cheeks, waking up feeling so refreshed. He looked at the clock, and it was still early. Suddenly, an idea hits him. "He will be surprised." Shen Wei jumped out of bed and dashed downstairs.

It was finally time for lunch. Shen Wei skipped happily, holding a lunch box in his hand to secretly meet his love on the rooftop of the school. "Xiao Wei," Yunlan called, opening his arms wide.
"Ah Lan!" Shen Wei jumped into his arms as Yunlan swung him round and round, making him giggled like a schoolgirl. "Put me down! I'm getting dizzy! Let's eat!" Yunlan put him down and pulled him in for sweet kisses that almost turned into something else but were able to stop when Yunlan's stomach growled.
Shen Wei opened the lunch box and spread it on the table. "SURPRISE!"
Instead of surprise, Yunlan widened his eyes in shock. "Looks...good!" Yunlan internally started weeping, looking at the burnt mixtures of things that he couldn't figure out what it is.
"I cooked all this myself, especially for you!" Shen Wei cupped his own face and blushed from shyness.
"No wonder it smells so good!" Yunlan's mouth uttered aloud but inwardly, "God, please help me!"
"Here! Have a taste!" Shen Wei spooned him the fried egg. "Open your mouth! Ahhh..."
"No...please..no...I'm going to die." Yunlan thought inwardly, but again, in reality, he uttered. "Sure! My love," he opened his mouth, looking at the black burnt thing making its way in.
Yunlan chewed and chewed while looking at Shen Wei, who grinned, showing all his white teeth and having eyes so round and sparkly like marbles, waiting with anticipation for another compliment.
"What is this rubbery thing!?" Yunlan inwardly concluded that it couldn't be chewed and immediately swallowed hard.
He gulped! His lips quivered, trying hard to bring it up to a smile to please his love, "Mmmmm...so delicious!"
Shen Wei's eyes twinkled from the compliment. "Here, eat this fried rice!" He spoon-fed Yunlan, who didn't want to prolong the suffering of chewing, so he just swallowed whatever Shen Wei fed him.
Thinking that Yunlan loved his cooking, he kept shoving many things in at once without giving him time to swallow, causing Yunlan to choke abruptly. "Ah Lan, I know you love my cooking, but eat slowly. Drink this hot/sour soup!"
Yunlan quickly gulped down the weird-tasting soup, which made it worst as he started to cough uncontrollably.
"Ah Lan!" Shen Wei panicked and tried to help Yunlan.

Meanwhile, Guo had just arrived at school after cleaning up the kitchen that Shen Wei almost burned down. He was looking for his Master and bumped into Da Qing, who was also trying to find the missing Yunlan since lunch.
Both huffed at each other, then heard a commotion coming from the rooftop and rushed to check. Only to witness Shen Wei slapping hard on Yunlan's back and digging his fingers into Yunlan's mouth, who's now gagging.
Thinking his friend is getting beat up, Da Qing rushed to his aid. "Hey, let him go!" Da Qing yelled and pulled Yunlan towards him. "I didn't do anything. He ate my soup and choked." Shen Wei pulled Yunlan back.
Guo immediately went to inspect the soup. "Master, I think you mixed in the lemon dish liquid instead of lemon juice in the soup. No wonder I saw it with the piles of other sauces when I cleaned up." He whispered to Shen Wei, who now had his mouth and eyes wide opened. "Oopsie!"
When they looked at Yunlan again, he was already on the ground spitting out foamy bubbles. They quickly rushed him to the school infirmary.

After school, Shen Wei went around looking for Yunlan, who quickly disappeared when the bell rang. He turned a hallway and saw Yunlan talking secretly on the phone. Shen Wei quickly hid at the corner to eavesdrop on his conversation.
"Ok, I will be there at 6. See you, bye-bye!" Yunlan ended the call and walked away. Shen Wei immediately ran after him. "Ah Lan!" Yunlan turned and was surprised to see Shen Wei there. "What is it, Xiao Wei?" He sort of panic, thinking Shen Wei might have heard him talking.
"Where are you going?" Shen Wei asked with suspicion. "I..I..got a call from my dad! I got to go!" Yunlan lied. He quickly gave a peck on Shen Wei's cheeks and left without noticing the angry look on his lover's face.

"This is beautiful, thank you!" Yunlan smiled and paid the saleswomen for the item he had custom-made at a jewelry store.
Unknown to him, someone had been watching and clenched their fist. "I'm going to kill you!"
Yunlan rode his motorcycle when he suddenly noticed that a car had been tailing him. He smirked and sped up, and so does the car. "Follow closely!" The person ordered the driver.
A while later, Yunlan finally parked at the side of the road. He looked back, and there was the car behind him. He got off his motorcycle and immediately approached the car.
"Duck down, don't let him see us!" A knock then came at the window. "Come out!" After a few knocks, the car door swung open. "You may go, but don't tell anyone!" The person ordered his driver and came out, giving Yunlan the puppy eyes because he was caught.
"Why are you following me? You think I don't remember your family's licence plate?" Yunlan arched his brows, looking at Shen Wei, who acted innocent. "Tell me!" Yunlan pinched his nose. "Ouch...fine..but tell me, who is that girl you met at the shop?" Shen Wei looked sharply at Yunlan, demanding an answer.
Yunlan chuckled loudly. "So you assumed that I was cheating?" He grabbed Shen Wei by the waist. "There's only you! Tomorrow you will know!" And peck his lips.
Shen Wei lightened up and quickly hugged Yunlan. "You mean tomorrow, we will spend Valentine together?" Yunlan nodded and pulled him on the motorcycle. "It's getting late. Let's go home!"
Unknown to them, someone had actually been watching and following both of them. The person smirked and drove after them.

This time Yunlan noticed a different car is tailing them. "Xiao Wei, hold on!" Yunlan began speeding up, making Shen Wei nervous. "I'm scared, Ah Lan!" Shen Wei clutched tightly around Yunlan's waist. "Trust me!" Yunlan assured as he squeezed Shen Wei's hand with one of his.
The person smirked again and sped up as well. "You both ruined me. I will ruin you!" The person accelerated and tried to bump into Yunlan from behind a few times.
"Ah Lan! Ah Lan!" Shen Wei screamed frantically, seeing they almost got hit. Luckily Yunlan was able to swirl onto a different lane and sped up through traffic, leaving the person stuck in traffic behind,
"Damn it!" Zhu Jiu banged on his steering wheel in frustration.

They finally arrived home, where Yunlan parked his motorcycle at the side of his house.
"What was that, Ah Lan?" Shen Wei was still shaking, and Yunlan quickly comforted him. "I will protect you!" He kissed his forehead and then pulled Shen Wei towards his house.
"What are you doing?" Shen Wei blushed. "My dad and your dad won't be home until late, and besides, you owe me!" And quickly carried Shen Wei like a bride inside the house and up to his room.
