Luca And Alberto: All grown up.

Hopping on The Grind.

LUCA'S POV:

"No no alberto please!!"  I yelled.

"Lucaaaa!!", he screams.

"Luca!!".

"LUCA", Giulia screams. I shoot up out of bed. "It was another dream", I thought.

"Yes Giulia...?", I say rubbing my eyes.

"Come on albertos making breakfast!!".

I get up and follow her into the kitchen.

"Morning Giulia morning lu-", alberto pauses. I couldn't tell for a moment why but then I saw him looking me up and down.

I look down to see im still in my underwear and a t-shirt.

"AHHH SHOOT IM SORRY"

I rush back to albertos room and get dressed.

I walk back into the kitchen and alberto and Giulia are sitting at the table waiting for me.

"Hurry Giulia over here is tapping her foot, waiting on you to get back so we can eat.", alberto says giving Giulia a playful nudge.

"Okay", I say quickly sitting down.

Giulia says a fast blessing then she digs in.

As I pick up a piece of my eggs I quickly glance at alberto. He wasn't looking at me but he then too looks at me causing me to shoot my eyes back down to my plate.

suddenly I feel someone's foot kick my foot.

I look down to see albertos foot.

I look up at him and he notions as if he's saying "what?"

"Nothing", I motion back.

"Si! Si! Bonjour!!", Massimo says coming in the door with multiple buckets of fish.

"I need someone to push the barrow back to the shed, preferably someone strong".

"Me!! I'll do it!", Alberto says getting up and grabbing the wheel barrow.

Massimo nods heading into his room.

"whats going on with you and alberto?",   Giulia nudges me giving a smirk.

"N-nothing!!"

"Then what the heck was that whole eye contact and foot thingy", she says giving me an eye.

"I dont know".

Alberto comes back in.

"Lets go walk around downtown!!", alberto says.

Me and Giulia nod.

We all get on our bikes and pedal to downtown.

Portorroso has gotten bigger and more people since I've been here last.

"DIOS MIO!!", Giulia says in Italian suddenly stopping her bike.

"What what is it?", I say peddling to her.

She shows us the sign.

It was for the....

PORTORROSO CUP!!!

"Woah!! We should do it!!", alberto says.

"You really think soo!!", Giulia says.

"Yeah!! Since alberto is 16 its his last year he can do it! ", I say.

Alberto looks at me and smiles.

"Underdogs?", Giulia says sticking out her fist.

"Were growing up fast...", I say looking at them.

"Yeah. Let's make the most of this summer!!", alberto says.

We all bump fists and go to run off.

"Luca!!!", a voice calls out .

Huh?

I see my mom walking up to me.

"Mama!!", I say hugging her.

"Luca, we have something very important to tell you", she says.

"Yes mama?"

"Were moving to land so we can be closer to you!!", she smiles.

"Really!?!?!"

"Yes!!", she says. "We need you home tonight so we can pack".

"Okay ill see you then!"

I turn and run to catch up to Giulia and Alberto.
