Part 4 (Finding You)

Freya's P.O.V.

I can't believe I just slept with a total stranger! I have to get out of here before he wakes up and the awkwardness starts. But how can I leave without waking him if his arm is wrapped around my freaking torso! What are we? A married couple? Shit!

"Okay, I can do this." I whisper to myself. I gently take his arm off of my stomach and quietly get out of his bed. I quickly get dressed and run for the door. I don't handle rejection well and I didn't need to hear it from him. I call a cab, walk out his house and hope to never see him again....

2 months later:

Blake's P.O.V.

I was at DJ's house just scrolling down my phone on Twitter...

"Hey man, what you doing?" DJ asks. "Oh come on, you still looking for that girl? It's been two months, you ain't gonna find her." I was trying to see if I could find Freya on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.... anywhere really, but with just a first name it was a long shot.

"Yeah I know, it's just... I can stop thinking about her man."

"Damn! What'd she do to you?"

"I don't know. I mean, it's not like I want to marry her but... I don't know, I want to get to know her."

"Wasn't she married or something?" 

"Yeah but the guy hit her, she didn't seem like the type to stay with someone like that... I don't know... Am I an idiot?"

"Nah man but, I've never seen you like this."

"Yeah. Anyways, I'm gonna go... I got Ford tomorrow, I'm gonna go buy him something."

"Alright, see you later man. And get your mind off that girl! If it's meant to be, it's meant to be." He jokes.

I leave DJ's and head on to the mall... I walk around looking through the stores windows and just like that, I could've sworn I saw her. I walk back and walk in to see if it was her... As soon as I step in I notice it's a baby store, here I was hoping never to be in here again. Don't get me wrong, I love my son but I would've wanted to be in a steady relationship...

"Freya?" I ask. She gasps as soon as she saw me.

"What are you doing here?" She asks startled.

"I'm buying some stuff for my kid... What are you doing here?"

"Oh uh, my friend Diana is pregnant. We're just looking."

"Hi." Her friend waves.

"Hey." I wave back. "Listen... you left the other day and--"

"I know, it's just-- it was gonna be awkward so I left before any awkwardness started..."

"I really did want to get to know you."

"There's nothing really interesting about me."

"How about I be the judge of that? Go out with me."

"Oh, no. I don't want to--"

"Uh! Yes!"

"Diana!" Freya warns...

"It's just one date. You don't even have to see me again if you don't want to." I say.

"Hey I got a question." Diana interrupts again... "You're a guy, right?"

"For as long as I can remember, yes."

"Yeah... So like Freya says, I'm pregnant, right? I've been telling her that I don't want to tell the father, it was kind of a one night stand, but my friend keeps telling me that I should tell him... If you were said person. I mean like, if you were in this situation, would you like to know you're having a kid?"

"Of course, even if it wasn't planned it would still be my kid."

"Hmm... You hear that Freya? Guess you were right." Freya glares at her. "I'll leave you two alone."

"I'm sorry about that." Freya apologizes.

"It's okay, she looks like a fun person." We chuckle.

"She is."

"So what do you say?"

"I'll... think about it."

"Great! Can you give me your phone number this time?" 

As she tells me her phone number her phone starts to ring... She looks for it in her purse and as she takes it out a piece of paper falls... a sonogram I think. As I bend over to grab it, she quickly does the same and takes it before I do..

"Is that.."

"Yes, I should probably go give it back to her." She acted weird.

"Right, I'll call you."

"Okay... well bye." She leaves.

Why was she acting so strange? Could it have been her ex calling her?
