Freya's P.O.V.

After my talk with Blake I go back to Diana's where Marc was still waiting for me.

"Where the hell were you?" He demanded.

"Talking with Blake."

"Where'd you go with him?"

"Relax, okay? He was just wanted to know about the baby."

"That baby is none of his concern."

"Yes it is, it's his daughter... You don't own me Marcus, so stop!"

"Oh but I do. You are my wife, anyone gets a scent that this baby is his, they'll ruin your reputation."

"I don't care about my reputation, you know I've never cared about what people think of me... But as soon as I get that money, you're gone."

As I'm about to walk out he grabs my wrist tightly.

"I think I explained what was gonna happen already." He whispers.

"You're hurting me."

"Hey, you're back." Diana says and Marc lets go of my wrist.

"I'll wait in the car, honey." He kisses me.

"What was that?" Diana asks as soon as Marc leaves.

"Oh God, I just want this nightmare to be over."

"So, you talked to Blake?"

"Yeah."

"And?"

"Um... I- He-"

"He's giving you the money isn't he?"

"I don't want him to but I need Marc out of my life." My eyes water. "I hate taking money from people. I mean, I didn't even ask my own mother for money."

"Well it's his daughter, so..."

I scoff. "That's exactly what he said."

"Freya? Do you have feelings for this guy?" She caught me off guard. Of course not!!

"What? No! He's a rich prick."

"That got you pregnant and has made you happier than ever."

"I am not in love with him."

"Who said anything about love?"
