"Sir. Command said to raid the Team Rocket base in Celadon City. Our spies report there's no high personnel in the facility," the Interpol officer said, "if there's no high personnel there then what's the point in raiding it," Blake asked, "command wants you to for information. Giovanni and the four horsemen were spotted in Unova and our spies haven't reported them in Kanto so we have a 12 hour time period," the officer informed Blake. "How many are there," Blake asked, "we think all throughout the base on 40-50 grunts," the officer replied, "tell command I want 150 officers with me for this raid. If we are to be successful we need the numerical advantage," Blake replied, "right away sir," the officer said saluting Blake before running out of the room. 5 minutes later the same officer came back into the room, "the raids been approved. They've given an hour to prepare before we move," the officer told Blake, "this raid may give us the means to defeat Giovanni and Team Rocket once and for all," Blake muttered to himself.
An Hour Later
Celadon City, Kanto
"I want everyone inside the game corner arrested," Blake said, "there will be no liabilities. I will not have people telling the news what we're doing here. Any questions?" No troopers raised their hands. The just looked blankly ready for what was to come. "Go," Blake said, "move move move." Troopers began pouring into the entry and began arresting people on sight. When Blake walked in there were several people handcuffed together and they handcuffed to a pole. There were 2 Team Rocket members dead on the floor and the rest on the people were apprehended. "Go move to the underground base," Blake yelled, "you 10." Blake pointed to 10 officers at the back of the crowd that was pouring into the small entrance. "Secure the perimeter, make sure no one leaves and no one comes in. Also let me know if there are any interesting people that I should now about," Blake informed, the ten officers saluted before Blake walked off entering the Team Rocket base.
When Blake entered it was a war zone. SomeTeam Rocket grunts and Interpol officers were hiding behind flipped desks taking shots at each other. Some were engaged in fierce Pokémon battles. Blake walked on, where he would actually find the plans he needed would be on the lower floors. Blake saw 2 grunts on the floor, one of them had a gaping wound that they were bleeding out of and the other one had legs as dark as charcoal even though his skin colour on his arms were white. Blake dealt with them quickly. In 2 shots they were both on the floor. Dead. Blake moved for the elevator. He saw a few grunts move for him as he made his way towards the elevator but they were tackled by some Interpol officers. Blake entered the elevator heading straight for the last floor.
When the elevator doors opened it seemed rather peaceful. No grunts were there. No one there to stop him from taking Team Rockets plans. That's when he noticed the woman laying on the couch in Giovanni's office. The woman stood up facing him, "come on Blake what did you expect?" The woman raised her arms around her. "For Giovanni to leave this place completely undefended? While Giovanni finishes his crusade in Unova I'm here in Kanto taunting my brother to come find me and who better to sneakily get me to my brother than his boss," the woman said gleefully. "Hello Leaf," Blake said no enthusiasm in his voice, "trust me I would not be able to get you close to Ash. I'm the person he least wants to see currently." "What because you lied to him," Leaf asked, "he asked if the Interpol knew anything about me and if I survived and you lied to him. Now he knows. And you're scared you're going to lose your ticket to finding Giovanni. Not only that you lied to me. You said my brother had died on a mission so I couldn't see him even if I wanted to. Then you sent me on that mission. You knew it was a fool's errand and now look where it got me. I thank you for the life you've given me Blake." "You're welcome," Blake muttered sarcastically. "But of course I never told you the reason I joined the international police. Do you want to know," Leaf asked, "no. Not really," Blake muttered sarcastically. "I did it in hopes that it would lead me to my brother. So I could have my revenge. Because at the time he was apart of Team Rocket. It made perfect sense but then Giovanni told me what had happened during the 2nd battle for Kalos. And here I stand. In opposition of you," Leaf said. "Yea," Blake said quietly, "well," Leaf said suddenly, "I'll be heading off. If you'll excuse me, you're blocking the way to the elevator." "No ones going anywhere," Blake said coldly, "is that so," Leaf asked slightly amused, "I don't think you understand. Giovanni and the four horsemen will be arriving shortly I don't think you have the manpower to deal with all of them." Blake seemed to contemplate his decisions before whipping out something Leaf didn't think Blake still carried. His Pokédex. Blake began speaking into the Pokédex, "very important people will be arriving shortly. People I do not want to deal with. Burn this facility to the ground and kill every grunt in it," a voice rang through the other side, "what about the people in the upstairs casino area?" "Kill them as well," Blake said, "sir," the voice asked, "you heard me," Blake replied. The voice was silent before answering, "right away sir." Blake put his Pokédex away. "I didn't know you went to such extremes," Leaf said calmly but Blake could see the lines of worry. She didn't know how she was going to escape. "I made exceptions," Blake said. "You failed what you came here for. Team Rocket plans," Leaf said beginning to sweat due to the heat coming through the vents from the upper floors. That's when she noticed the fire coming from the upper floors. Using her powers she tossed all of Team Rockets plans straight into the fire. All of Team Rockets darkest secrets were destroyed. Just like that. But now they had no photographic evidence of what the other Pokédex holders were up to. "You've trapped yourself. You know I'm the superior fighter. Give up and I can offer you your revenge and a spot back in the international police. Do you not remember all the missions we went on together. Partner..." Blake was cut off due to being crushed by a falling metal pole from the ceiling. Leaf glanced at Blake. She couldn't leave him to die. No matter how much of her past she tried to get rid of. Her and Blake would always be partners. They had worked together as long as Ash had worked with Team Rocket. Leaf grabbed his wrist and dragged him into the elevator with her. Leaf snorted as her eyes went over the do not use lift if there is a fire sign. Leaf jammed her finger into the button that would take her to floor 1. Surprisingly the elevator actually worked. Through all the fire when Leaf got to the first floor she could barely make out the stairs leading up to upstairs. Leaf had no time to second glance at all the charred bodies on the floor as she dragged Blake's limp body up the stairs. The casino had been evacuated. Leaf noticed all the dead bodies that Blake had ordered. She saw a gap in the blazing inferno and chose that as her best opportunity. With all of her strength she picked Blake up and threw him through the hole before she ran in the opposite direction not wanting to get caught by the authorities waiting on the other side. The burning casino soon became a tiny spec in the horizon as Leaf got further and further away contemplating her decision to save Blake who had ordered the deaths of innocent people. That made him no better than Giovanni.
