"Great," Ash muttered, "now we're surrounded by the enemy with no way out." "We have a way out," Blake said, "I have a jet at the airport but we're going to have to endure the siege until the flying attacks are repelled. Ash looked out the window, it was true. Many Team Rocket grunts fought Interpol officers in the sky disabling them from letting Team Rocket just breeze through the city. Meanwhile at the choke points Team Rocket grunts poured through being picked off by the gathered civilians who were helping in the defence of the city. "We still have time," Blake muttered, "so anyways, no matter how much influence I have I can't drop the charges against you for what you did when you were in Team Rocket." "Great," Ash muttered, "so I'm still a wanted fugitive." "Um, yea. Im trying to work on that but the really higher ups say you can't be forgiven so they are keeping you on the list," Blake said, "nothing much I can do." An explosion shook the building, Blake and Ash peered out the window. A building had just crumbled into flames. Another officer suddenly burst into Blake's office. "Sir, the building is being evacuated. That means you too," the officer said. "I still have business to attend to so I will leave when I feel like it," Blake replied cooly. "Sir, I don't think you understand. The city is under attack. Which puts you in direct danger," the officer replied. Ash could only sigh as Blake eyed the officer who stood before him. "Do you know who is in charge here," Blake asked, "you sir," the officer replied quickly. "So theoretically you have to follow my every order. Correct?" Blake asked, "yes sir," the officer answered. "So if I asked you to jump out the window to see my survival chance would you do it,". Blake asked. "No sir," the officer said, "I would not jump out of a building." Sighing Blake dismissed the officer. "Anyways before we got interrupted I was saying... that's right charges. Right, people have recognised you as one of the dex holders who saved Kalos and one of the few remaining dex holders so when people found you had been imprisoned they would not take it well. You saved a lot of them after all. I don't think the higher ups care what you did for the world but the public backlash would cut your sentence drastically." "So either way I'm going to prison," Ash said, "if you capture Giovanni I may be able to make the charge just community service," Blake said, "because they'd trust a murderer to pick up rubbish," Ash said. Blake didn't say anything but smiled slightly. Suddenly the building shook violently, Ash looked out the window and it looked like the buildings around were getting taller. Not taller, the building they were in was shrinking. "See you on the other side commander," Ash said before they hit the ground with a jolt.

With the other dex holders:
Dawn, Jimmy and Paul burst into the living room. "Turn on the news right now," Paul yelled. "What," Silver asked, "why." Paul grabbed the remote and changed the channel. Everyone in the room grew silent as they saw the image of a burning Saffron City. Team Rocket surrounded the walls and the sky was no better. The sky was a constant battle of explosions. "And it also seems that the commander of the International Police is here, trapped behind the walls of Saffron City," the reporter said as the camera zoomed in on Blake who was walking out of the burning Interpol building which had crumbled. No one payed attention to Blake but rather the person walking next to him. It was Ash. "What is he doing there," Red exclaimed waving his arms angrily. "Is this a bad time," Jimmy asked nervously, "what do you think," Red yelled angrily. "Well," Jimmy began, "Ash told me he was leaving to Saffron for some business with Blake and to only say something if things were really bad. Like Team Rocket attacking a supposed impenetrable city. Like right now." Silver and Green groaned, Red was pacing the room muttering, "when I get my hands on that kid I swear", Dawn was surprisingly calm considering her boyfriend was nearly 95% dead especially if Giovanni was there, Paul had walked out the room and Blue was putting stuff in a backpack. "Are we going or not," Blue asked. That immediately changed the mood, Red stopped pacing and ran out, somewhere. Green and Silver soon followed. Jimmy picked up a few things before rushing out of the room as well. Blue and Dawn shared a look that seemed to say, 'boys'.
