Cerise Laboratory, Vermillion City, Kanto
With Ash and Dawn:
"How did you know my mums Pokémon were in there," Dawn asked, "well I, um, kinda put them in there, sorta," Ash said. "Oh," Dawn said feeling a bit stupid. "Are you mad," Ash asked, "no. I guess I don't know what to feel. I've gotten over the fact you used to be apart of that organisation," Dawn answered, "but I still love you." "I love you too," Ash muttered.

"Where are you going," Red demanded, "out," Ash said quickly, "Ash we have to go do the thing," Silver said, "we'll do that later today," Ash said, "can your thing wait," Green asked, "I want to do it today just in case something happens," Ash said, "let them go," Blue said, "they won't take long will they?" "No," Dawn said, "only 2 hours." "2 hours," Red scoffed, "are any of you aware of what is happening tomorrow." "We are all well aware," Paul said, "it can't hurt letting the lovebirds go for a little walk," Jimmy said smirking. "Well that settles it," Ash said, "let's go Dawn." They left the room and walked out the door. "Did they tell anyone what they're actually doing," Red asked, "I don't think they were just going to go for a walk." "They told me," Blue said, "what are they doing then," Paul asked, "they said they would tell everyone after tomorrow was over," Blue replied, "they said I couldn't tell anyone else."

6 Hours Later
Cerise Laboratory, Kanto:
When Ash and Dawn walked through the door Red was waiting for them. "Where have you been," Red yelled, "you said 2 hours. It has been 6 hours. It is now 2pm and do any of you even remember what's happening tomorrow." "Yes we understand what is at stake," Ash said, "but keeping us here will not do any good." That's when Ash met Silver's eye. Silver seemed to say, it's time. "Silver, Green and I are going to go get supplies. We're running short aren't we," Ash said, "yes," Silver said, "we are we have to get a good night sleep on a full stomach before tomorrow." Ash walked out the door. Silver and Green followed.

In the Car:
"You sure this is a good idea," Ash asked, "no," Green replied, "great," Ash muttered. The car was silent. They knew what they were doing and none of them were sure of their chances. The car ride was tense. "Who should we expect to see," Silver asked, "probably not Giovanni. Victoria, Emily, Hudson, Joel and maybe Leaf," Ash replied. The car yet again went silent with the only noise being the roar of the engine. Suddenly Ash tensed, "we're being followed." "By who," Silver asked, "Team Rocket?" "No," Ash replied, "we're being followed by Red."

"Why is he..." Green was cut off, "it doesn't matter. We can't waste time. And Red can't be there," Ash said, "hold on." Ash took a hard left turning into the fast lane before speeding up. Red followed. Ash zoomed, driving in and out of cars trying to loose Red. "Doesn't matter," Ash muttered, "now stop talking, I'm concentrating." That's when Ash looked to the right of him and Red was right there. "Shit," Ash muttered before slamming the breaks and then changing into the furthest lane. He made it look like he was going to go off the exit. Red fell for it and Ash changed at the last second. "Looks like that problem is dealt with," Silver muttered.

Vermillion Mall, Kanto
30 Minutes Later:
"So you think they followed us," Green asked, "they would not miss the opportunity to possibly kill 3 dex holders," Ash replied, "what about when you and Dawn went out," Silver asked, "did they follow you then?" "We ran into some grunts," Ash said, "literally. But they didn't appear to be looking for us. Plus we were being subtle, we walked and made sure to watch our backs. While just before we weren't being very subtle. Getting into a car chase with one of our own which probably made it easier for us." "What did you and Dawn do," Silver asked, "tell you later," Ash said, "it's a surprise." "What should we do now that we're here," Green asked, "split up. That'll make them come out," Ash said before walking off. "I guess this is it then," Silver muttered before walking off in a different direction. Green walked off in  another direction.

With Ash:
Ash walked through the crowds of people trying to blend in. He did not have such luck. As Ash turned the corner he realised who was in front of him. Joel titled his head slightly in question. "I know you're behind me," Ash yelled, "well what did you expect, Ketchum," Hudson asked, "a welcome home card? Is this so you can rejoin Team Rocket?" "I am well past that phase," Ash said, "well then I'm sorry, old friend," Hudson replied before pulling a gun out. Joel did the same. "Do you not talk anymore," Ash asked Joel, "no I do. Just not to traitors," Joel replied, "the only person you have betrayed is yourself by convincing yourself that what Team Rocket is doing is good," Ash shot back. "That doesn't matter," Joel replied, "it ends here. They let the bullets fly.

With Silver:
"It's been a while hasn't it, Silver," a voice said behind him. "Hello, Sird, Victoria or whatever you want to be called," Silver replied, "Victoria will do," she replied. Silver turned around and noticed the person standing next to her. It was Emily. Ash described her nearly perfectly. "You must be Emily," Silver said, "hello." Silver spoke like was was speaking to a small child. Emily said nothing but just regarded him coldly before speaking, "Giovanni's son. I expected more," Emily said. "When you see what I'm capable of," Silver said, "that will be all," Victoria cut him off, "it ends now." Explosions shook the hall as Emily and Victoria pulled out a Pokeball each. Silver did the same.

With Green:
Green walked silently through the crowds of people. He was supposed to be drawing Team Rocket out yet he wasn't sure if they were even coming. "Do you want to know what happened that afternoon," a voice said behind him, "hello niece," Green replied, "uncle," Leaf said, "it's been... a long time. I don't feel like doing maths right now." "17 or so years," Green confirmed, "well unfortunately for you I have to end you," Leaf said. The ceiling collapsed around Green.
