I released a sigh when I finally saw our house. Kanina ko pa iniiwasan ang mga tao sa daungan dahil alam kung magtataka at magtatanong sila kung bakit kami magkasama ni Giu. And speaking of him, chill lang itong nakatingin sa akin habang dala-dala ang maleta ko, dala niya rin ang traveling bag niya sa kabila.

"Why are you running?" he asked me. Kung ako ay halos maligo na sa pawis, siya naman ay fresh na fresh lang. Para lang siyang nagjogging kumpara sa akin na parang sumali nang marathon.

"Gusto mo bang pagnakita tayo ng mga tao doon ay pagch-chismisan tayo?" sabi ko habang binubuksan ang pinto nang bahay namin. Agad akong umupo sa kawayang upuan namin.

"Well, they gossip all they want. It can't change the fact you're my girlfriend," he casually said before entering.

"Do you have a hanky? You're sweating. Let me wipe it." At first I was hesitant to give him my handkerchief but I still give it anyway.

"Come here," he said and tap the seat beside him. I slowly go and sit beside him.

Una niyang kinuha ang pungpong na buhok na nakaipit sa likod ng damit ko. Agad niya itong itinali gamit ang pantali ko. Napangiti ako sa repleksyon niya sa salamin dahil kitang-kita ko kung paano siya kasersyoso habang tinatali ang buhok ko. Kitang-kita sa repleksyon nang salamin kung paano kumunot ang noo niya habang ginagawa iyon.

"I thought you're gonna wipe out my sweats?" I teased him.

"Oh," he said then start wiping out my sweats. He looks so passionate while doing it. He started wiping from my forehead down to my neck. After doing that, he then proceed tying my hair.

"Why is it so hard? It looks so easy in the video. Damn scammer," he murmured. Shocked, I look at him. He brows furrowed for a while.

"What did you say? You watch videos about tying hairs?" I asked him. He faced became red and he immediately avoided my gaze. His ears are red too.

"Ah, I just scrolling in YouTube and I've seen it in my news feed," he said while his ears are still red. He's still not facing me though.

"Oh," I said and and bite my lower lips to prevent me from smiling. He looks so cute. No, cute aren't the best description of him. He looks so manly at the same time, cute?

"Don't you want to visit your mother? Oh right, you're sleeping there right?" I asked him. He look at me.

"You don't want me to sleep here?"

"Of course, baka ano pa ang masabi ng mga tao Giu. And alam naman ng senyora na umuwi ka diba?" I asked.

"Yes. But you're all alone here? Maybe I should built a tent outside your house or something," he seriously said while lurking around.

"What the hell? Are you serious? Don't ever do that Giu. And if you're worried about me being alone here, don't worry. I'm safe," I said while following him.

"I can't stand the fact that you're alone. Can I just stay here. I'll promise, I'll be good. I won't do any unnecessary things sweetheart. Please. I'm worried about you," he pleaded. Kani-kanina lang ay tumakbo ako palayo sa daungan dahil ayoko ko nang chismis tapos dito na naman siya matutulog. Di kaya ako mumultuhin ni papa nito?

"You can use my room. I just use papa's room," I said. He stared at me so I stared him back.

"Don't worry Tito Doro, I won't do unnecessary things to your daughter. I respect and value her so much. I won't disrespect you in your own house. I just want her to be safe. No worries Tito," he blurted out in the air. I look at him, touched at what he said. Even if my father aren't here, he still ask for permission. God, I love this man so much. Thank you for giving him to me.
