Oh my God! Let me have patience!
Let me have a good sense!
So that no offence I do commit,
I can have blessed with sacred spirit.
As if I do not learn to become intolerant,
Guide me to the right path in every action and treatment.
Happiness, sorrow, success or failure,
I would like to share with my fellow citizens more and more.
I don't want to be malicious for the success of others,
As I want to be happy to have a feeling of mine or ours.
In the name of religion, I don't want to have any amiss,
Man is for man- should be a slogan of peace.
Oh God! Let me have a strength of mind in danger,
Let me have courage in heart for not to fear.
I, as it were, can keep away from unjust or wrong policy,
My heart, my hands do not have mired with autocracy.
As if I may be worshipper of truthfulness,
And be a fighter against corruption and nakedness.
Steadiness in spirit is the best fitness,
Only a tense free life can bring happiness.
Those who are the epitome of steadfast devotion,
I want to be in the fray; oh my God! Let me have promotion.
